Nadat we alle deelnemers hebben opgehaald, gaan we koffie drinken, waar je je ontbijt, snacks en water voor de dag kunt kopen. We stoppen ook even bij de kledingverhuurwinkel, zodat je de kleding en uitrusting kunt huren die je nodig hebt voor dit sneeuwavontuur.
Bij deze halte zetten we degenen af die de hele dag in El Colorado zullen doorbrengen, een van de meest iconische skigebieden van Chili, gelegen in het Andesgebergte, vlakbij Santiago. Het is de ideale plek voor wie de sneeuw wil ervaren, wil skiën, snowboarden of gewoon wil genieten van de besneeuwde bergen met familie of vrienden.
Bij deze halte zetten we iedereen af die de dag in het Farellones Snow Park wil doorbrengen. Hoewel er mogelijkheden zijn om te skiën en snowboarden, vereisen de meeste activiteiten geen ervaring, waardoor het een inclusieve en spannende ervaring is voor bezoekers die gewoon in de sneeuw willen spelen en van het landschap willen genieten.
Valle Nevado is een van de grootste en modernste skigebieden van Chili en Zuid-Amerika, gelegen in het Andesgebergte, ongeveer 46-60 km ten oosten van Santiago. Het ligt op meer dan 3000 meter boven zeeniveau en is ontworpen om complete sneeuwervaringen te bieden, van beginners tot experts. Het resort beschikt over meer dan 900 hectare aan skigebied met een goede variatie aan pistes (waaronder blauwe, rode en zwarte pistes).

I took 6 ski day trips with Condor Explorer and had 6 wonderful experiences. Jesus was my guide, and he was prompt, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and fluent in both Spanish and English. For example, on a heavy snow day Jesus installed chains on all four wheels of the tour van, even though only two were required. When he saw that a car in front of us was having dangerous trouble with traction, Jesus got out and gave the driver some advice on how to drive in the snow that clearly helped. Later, when he saw that another tour van was having trouble changing a flat tire, Jesus again got out and showed them how to adapt their jack to get the wheel off. He even helped a local business by suggesting that they open early to offer passengers breakfast. As far as I can tell, everybody loves Jesus and I can see why. He's a really cool guy. Jesus is also an expert driver and trained in emergency medicine. Ultimately, I can think of no higher praise than to say that in the Andes mountains I would trust Jesus with my life. When I decide to return to Chile, the first thing I will do is book a tour with Condor Explorer. --- I took six one-day ski excursions with Condor Explorer and had six wonderful experiences. Jesús was my guide; he was punctual, expert, reliable, and friendly, in addition to speaking both Spanish and English fluently. For example, on a day with heavy snowfall, Jesús put chains on all four wheels of the van, even though they were only required on two. Upon seeing that a vehicle in front of us was having dangerous traction problems, Jesús got out and advised the driver on how to drive in the snow, which proved clearly helpful. Later, upon observing that another tourist van was having difficulty changing a flat tire, Jesús got out again and taught them how to adapt their hydraulic jack to remove the wheel. He even helped a local business by suggesting that they open early to offer breakfast to the passengers. From what I could tell, everyone adores Jesús, and I understand perfectly why: he is a fantastic person. Jesús is also an expert driver and has training in emergency medicine. Ultimately, I cannot think of higher praise than to say that I would trust my life to Jesús in the Andes.
