Vertrek in de vroege ochtend vanuit Rome in een comfortabele bus met airconditioning en geniet van een schilderachtig uitzicht op het Italiaanse platteland. Bij aankomst in Montepulciano verken je het historische centrum, de charmante straatjes en de prachtige pleinen – inclusief locaties uit de “Twilight”-filmsaga en andere filmische werken – in het gezelschap van een gecertificeerde Leider. Houd er rekening mee dat het wandelpad een lichte helling heeft. Bezoek een lokale 12e-eeuwse wijnmakerij voor een begeleide wijnproeverij, het proeven van de beste wijnen uit de regio en het leren over het wijnbereidingsproces. A fabulous day in the Tuscan countryside. Fantastic tour guide and amazing food and wine. I would highly recommend this day trip.
This summer, my family and I had the pleasure of visiting these beautiful places with Giovanni - an extremely well-travelled and knowledgeable guide who makes you assimilate into the place and gives you the best experience you could possibly want. This was definitely the most memorable segment of my trip - he has this charm to him and brings together people like no one else. The wine tasting, lunch, shopping and the extremely welcoming crowd is the cherry on top. If you want the true Italian experience, do take this trip, it opens you up to Italy like no other place can.
I loved the walk, Giovanni is fantastic. Interact with everyone, very attentive and polite. Very good. The experience was unforgettable. Knowing the golden hills and medieval villages, with wine tasting and a spectacular lunch at the vineyard, was the best part of the trip. The organization was excellent and the treatment, VIP. I highly recommend.
