Ga mee met onze tour van Marmaris naar Pamukkale en geniet van een dag in een van de natuurwonderen van de wereld. Pamukkale, perfect gevormd door de krachten van de natuur zelf, is een van de meest unieke toeristische bestemmingen in Turkije. De lokale bevolking noemt het niet voor niets "het Katoenkasteel". De plek wordt gedomineerd door een enorme berg, volledig bedekt met een witte laag, die bezoekers versteld doet staan van dit betoverende schouwspel. Deze plek staat ook op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Pamukkale ligt 200 km ten noordoosten van Marmaris en de reis duurt ongeveer 3 uur met onze comfortabele bussen met airconditioning. ✅ Geniet van de schilderachtige bossen en dorpjes tijdens de reis van Marmaris naar Pamukkale. ✅ Profiteer van hoteltransfers en verzekering inbegrepen in de tourprijs. ✅ Verken de oude ruïnes van Hierapolis en de Necropolis. ✅ Neem een duik in de rustgevende thermale baden van Pamukkale.

We halen onze gasten op bij hun hotels en rijden vervolgens naar Pamukkale.
De afstand tussen Marmaris en Pamukkale (het Katoenkasteel) is 200 km, een comfortabele busrit van ongeveer 3 uur. Tijdens deze lange busreis krijgt u een glimp van het authentieke Turkse platteland te zien. Uw gids zal u onderweg informeren over de levensstijl en de lokale bevolking. Al onze bussen zijn voorzien van airconditioning en zijn comfortabel. Uw ontbijt wordt onderweg in de vorm van een lunchpakket geserveerd.
We bezoeken een steenhouwer in Pamukkale, waar u meer te weten kunt komen over deze prachtige Turkse kunstvorm. Zodra we in Denizli aankomen, nemen we een pauze van 30 minuten, waar u gebruik kunt maken van de toiletten en iets kunt drinken of eten. Dit is het juiste moment en de juiste plek om u voor te bereiden op uw bezoek aan Pamukkale.
Bij aankomst in Pamukkale zal onze gids u alles wat u moet weten over deze plek in detail uitleggen. Daarna heeft u 3 uur vrije tijd om de omgeving op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen! Afhankelijk van uw interesses kunt u zelf bepalen hoe u deze 3 uur invult. U kunt een wandeling maken over de witte kliffen van Pamukkale of een verfrissend warm bad nemen. U kunt ervoor kiezen om de historische overblijfselen van Hierapolis en de necropolis te bezoeken, of een duik te nemen in het beroemde Cleopatra-bad. Of u kunt al deze opties na elkaar doen. De 3 uur vrije tijd is helemaal van u, dus plan goed in!
Na uw bezoek aan de oude stad Pamukkale staat er een heerlijke lunch in buffetvorm voor u klaar. In ons stijlvolle restaurant kunt u kiezen uit tien verschillende koude voorgerechten en een ruime keuze aan hoofdgerechten, waaronder ook vegetarische opties. Ook zoetigheden, fruit en vers Turks brood staan op het menu. Houd er rekening mee dat de maaltijd bij de prijs is inbegrepen, maar u dient uw drankjes zelf af te rekenen.
In de middag beginnen we aan de terugreis naar Marmaris. We verwachten rond 19:00 uur in Marmaris aan te komen. Zodra we in Marmaris zijn, brengen we u terug naar uw hotel, waar we u 's ochtends hebben opgehaald.

Trip was as described. Pamukkale was beautiful. Had two stops one was wine tasting which wasn’t mentioned and the other was an onyx factory. It is a long journey but well worth it

Too many unnecessary stops along the way left almost no time to actually enjoy the main attraction. The guide did the absolute bare minimum

Everything was very well and punctually organized. Our tour guide Nur was very helpful, friendly, and competent. Pamukkale, the Cleopatra Pool, and Hierapolis are beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. The only small point of criticism is the duration of the stay: Three hours is a bit tight. With four hours, one could visit everything much more relaxed and enjoy the impressive surroundings even more. Overall, a very nice and highly recommended excursion.

Pamukkale is a beautiful place and the terraces are truly impressive, but we had a rather unpleasant experience with the entrance. The man at the entrance tried to overcharge us for the helmets: although he had indicated to us that it would be about 30 €, they finally charged us about 40 €, including the cost of the helmets. We had to complain several times and get angry so that they would finally return the money they overcharged us. Our impression was that these types of situations occur especially with tourists. In addition, they make you pay mandatorily in Turkish lira, so it is easy not to notice the difference at the moment if you do not do the conversion. We recommend checking the amount in lira and doing the conversion to euros before paying. Despite this bad experience, Pamukkale is very much worth it: the landscape is spectacular and the terraces are unique. Simply, go with care regarding the prices and check well what they are charging you to avoid surprises.

The only thing is a bit tiring six hours trip, for three hours tour, but basically it's nice to see something unusual and not everyday

I would like to separate the tour itself from the organization of the pickup in Bodrum, because my experience with these two parts was completely different. We travelled from Bodrum and joined the main tour bus coming from Marmaris. From that point onwards, everything was excellent. The tour was well organized, informative and interesting. There were a couple of brief, non-pushy stops at shops, but nothing excessive. Our guide Nur was absolutely wonderful — knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely made the day enjoyable. Unfortunately, the pickup from Bodrum was handled by a different local agency (possibly Payless Turizm), and this part was extremely poorly organized. We were supposed to be picked up at the agreed location and time, but nobody came. When we called the number provided, a very sleepy-sounding man answered and seemed completely unaware of the situation. We then spent about an hour trying to convince them to come to the agreed pickup point. They kept insisting that we should walk about a kilometre to some “main road” — at 5 a.m., in complete darkness. This was simply unacceptable. We had booked a tour with a specified pickup location, and we expected the company to honour that arrangement. Eventually, the issue was resolved, but unfortunately our delay affected the whole bus and cost everyone about an hour. Luckily, everything worked out in the end, and we had a wonderful day in Pamukkale. So, 4 stars overall: the actual tour and guide were excellent, but the Bodrum pickup service needs serious improvement.

Beautiful experience, enchanting places, highly recommended. For those who don't speak much English, it's hard to understand; they should provide headsets that translate, but it's worth doing. Everyone was kind, especially our guide Sutan🙂
