Dag 1: Ervaar Global Geopark – Traditioneel ambachtelijk dorp – Ngao-grot – Trúc Lâm-pagode – Bản Giốc-waterval – Hanoi Reis met een auto bestuurd door een lokale gids 07:00 – 07:45 uur: Geniet van speciaal eten zoals Cao Bang-rijstpapier, eendennoedelsoep, zure noedels 06:45 – 08:00 uur: Reis over een pittoreske weg in Global Geopark, van de stad Cao Bang naar de Ma Phuc-pas, volg dan de dorpsweg van etnische mensen, je ziet oude paalwoningen, kindergelach onderweg om het prachtige landschap te bewonderen als een sprookjesland, als je dorst of honger hebt, geeft onze gids je water of wat gebak zoals Peng Va, Banh Den CB, Banh Te..... zodat je je reis sterk en gelukkig kunt voortzetten 08:00 – 08:30 uur: Bezoek aan het papierambachtelijke dorp of het smeeddorp van het Cao Bang-volk, waar bezoekers de mogelijkheid om paalwoningen te bezoeken, te leren hoe je papier maakt/smeedt en meer te leren over het leven van de lokale bevolking
08:30 - 11:30: Ga verder op de meest unieke en prachtige route, waar weinig vrachtwagens of containers rondrijden, ga door de dorpen Tay, Nung, Dao ... voel het prachtige landschap dat de natuur op deze plek heeft geschonken. 23:30 - 12:30: Bezoek Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), Ngao Cave kan worden beschouwd als een van de grotten die nog steeds zijn ongerepte schoonheid behoudt, natuurlijke stenen zuilen gevormd gedurende honderden miljoenen jaren, stalactieten pronken met gemaakt en gebeeldhouwd door moeder natuur met duizenden verschillende prachtige vormen zoals tijgerbeeld, lotusbloemafbeelding, bootafbeelding, cactusafbeelding, kwallenafbeelding, toverstok ...
12:30 - 13:00 uur: Lunchen bij Thac Ban Gioc Restaurant, waar we kunnen ontspannen en genieten van de gespecialiseerde keuken van Cao Bang in het algemeen en Ban Gioc in het bijzonder 13:00 - 13:30 uur: Bezoek het Truc Lam Zen-klooster in Cao Bang, klim naar de pagode en geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op de Ban Gioc-waterval met het landschap van bergachtig en door elkaar heen stromend water. Aan de andere kant is de Chinese glazen brug, aan deze kant zijn de vredige en poëtische Vietnamese rijstvelden. 13:30 - 14:30 uur: Bezoek de Ban Gioc-waterval met water dat van bovenaf naar beneden stroomt om een rivier wit te kleuren, naast een geurig rijstveld met een koele bries. Neem een boot dichter bij de waterval, de waterdruppels die op mensen spatten bezorgen je een beetje kippenvel. In het midden van de rivier ligt de grens van Vietnam - China, een gevoel kan niet gelukkiger zijn als je bijna 100 km naar deze plek hebt gereisd.
16 : 30pm - 17 : 30pm : Omgeven door weelderige groene bergen en kalm smaragdgroen water, Angel Mountain biedt een rustige sfeer, ver van drukke toeristische routes. Vanaf het uitkijkplatform kunnen bezoekers genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op het meer, dramatische karstformaties en het traditionele plattelandsleven langs de rand van het water. De weerspiegeling van de berg op het meer maakt het een perfecte plek voor fotografie, ontspanning en natuurliefhebbers.
14:30 - 15:00 uur: Terug naar Cao Bang met een andere route, zodat u de overlapping in het tourschema niet voelt, de route met bergen en heuvels die in de verte opdoemen, hieronder is het groene veld dat de boer ijverig heeft verzorgd met meststof 18:00 - 19:00 uur: Terug naar de stad Cao Bang en dineren bij onze homestay 20:00 - 20:30 uur: Terug naar het hotel om bagage op te halen terwijl u wacht op het ophalen door een VIP Sleeper Bus 21:00 - 05:00 uur: VIP Sleeper Bus zet u af bij het busstation en u kunt met een taxi terug naar uw hotel. Trung is a wonderful tour guide! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable from the start to the end! This trip was truly amazing from start to finish. The journey from Hanoi was long but comfortable, with beautiful scenery along the way. Visiting the local villages gave me a real glimpse into the peaceful countryside life — everyone was so kind and welcoming. The highlight, of course, was Ban Gioc Waterfall — breathtakingly beautiful! Standing there and watching the water flow between Vietnam and China felt surreal. Our guide Mr.Tu was knowledgeable, patient, and caring throughout the trip. When we returned the home stay Anthony entertained us with a flute. The local dishes were delicious. Highly recommended. We had an amazing experience in Cao Bang. Anthony and Quin were great guides, and we were given plenty of time to take in the breathtaking views around Angel Eye Mountain and Ban Gioc Waterfall. The homestay is also very clean and comfortable, and the food provided was delicious. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a less touristy way to experience northern Vietnam
We had an absolutely wonderful day filled with unique local experiences — from traditional paper making to watching the fascinating process of glass noodle preparation. The true highlights were the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall and the mesmerizing Ngườm Ngao Cave, both leaving us in awe of nature’s beauty. 🌿✨ Our guide, Sen, was warm, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable — it truly felt like exploring with a local friend. A heartfelt 10/10 to Anthony and Sen for curating such a memorable and meaningful journey for us. ❤️
It was great to see Vanzok Falls for myself. It was so much more powerful than what I saw in the photos and I was really impressed by the splash. In addition to the waterfalls, I was also taken to caves and mountains with holes. It was a lot of fun to travel by motorbike to the mountains. They took me to places I didn't see in any Japanese guidebook. This tour is packed full of exciting and fun experiences, which I highly recommend. Our guides, Anthony and Kwon, were also very kind. Despite the language barrier, they used the app to talk a lot while we were on the move, and we had a great time. I had really good memories of this tour. Thank you very much.
The whole trip was very well organised. We really enjoyed the whole day with good food and with our ture guide Tu. He was really helpful and knows a lot about the things he showed to us. The nature is amazing and the whole trip was such a great experience!
The trip was great from the start to the end. The co-ordination for the entire trip was managed well by Anthony. Tian who was with us throughout the day made sure we had a great time. The time we spent at the Ban Gioc waterfall and the Nguom Ngao caves was leisurely and not rushed which we liked. Our vegetarian food choice was also catered to well. To top it all off Anthony himself cooked dinner for us which was a very sweet and kind gesture!
The day was so fun we enjoyed it and made such good memories. Would definitely recommend to others. Definitely worth the money! And An’s home stay was a lovely place to end the day.
Tian was a great guide to show us the local sights and food of Cao Bang! Would recommend. Sleeper but is very comfortable.
Very nice tour that takes you to surprising places. You are really taken into local life. The food is well arranged and the tour guide was very helpful. We had some extra questions, such as transport from cao bang to ha giang, luggage storage in Hanoi, our laundry had to be done etc. And everything we were helped with excellently. The waterfall is beautiful, the cave is impressive and the villages are very nice to visit.
