De Connemara dagtour neemt je mee naar het wilde westen van Ierland. Ervaar de meren, bergen en moerassen waar de tradities van weleer nog steeds een groot deel van het dagelijks leven zijn. Deze schilderachtige landtour omvat een fotostop bij de romantische Kylemore Abbey, een boottocht op de Killary-fjord en een bezoek aan de bohemien Galway City.

We ontmoeten elkaar vóór het Molly Malone-standbeeld op Suffolk Street. Wij beginnen onze spannende reis met een tocht naar de westkust van Ierland naar Connemara. Wij nemen een uitzonderlijk mooie route naar Oughterard, dat als toegangspoort tot Connemara wordt beschouwd. Wanneer u onderweg door de charmante stadjes rijdt, zult u uitzichten hebben die u elders in het land niet tegenkomt! Er zijn geen borden of grenzen die Connemara National Park aanduiden; aan de adembenemende omgeving ziet u vanzelf dat u bent gearriveerd.
Deze tour is inclusief boottocht rond de haven van Killary. Ierland heeft maar één fjord en we gaan er recht op af – de Killary Fjord. Bewonder de bloeiende mosselbanken en kijk uit naar Mweelrea, het hoogste gebergte aan de westkust van Ierland.
Onze volgende stop is naar Kylemore Abbey, naar verluidt een van de meest romantische kastelen in Ierland. Hier kunt u enkele foto's van deze geweldige omgeving krijgen en ontspannen voor een lunch (niet inbegrepen entree tot het kasteel niet inbegrepen).
Op de terugweg naar Dublin zullen we stoppen bij een van Ierlands meest geliefde steden. Galway is jong en boheems en in trek bij expressieve en alternatieve mensen uit alle windstreken van Ierland en daarbuiten. De straten bruisen met straatartiesten en muzikanten die u kunnen vermaken tijdens uw verblijf.
We komen weer terug in Dublin na een spannende en onvergetelijke reis waarin we de ruige schoonheid van Connemara hebben ontdekt.

We missed the bus by 3 minutes. They called us to check our eta but had to leave. Could not wait. Disappointed.

I don't know. You tell me. You cancelled on me so I did not experience Connemara. However I was able to experience Giant's Causeway...absolutely lovely.
Anthony was the tour guide and driver. He was kind, courteous, and knew the history that I wanter to learn. I was on the tour solo and I sat in the front. I felt very comfortable and he answered all my questions and never complained.
Connemara is breathtakingly beautiful. Our driver Anthony was amazing, knowledgeable and funny. Great experience. Even though I would have preferred to skip the trip to Galway and just experience the beauty of Connemara.

We were scheduled for the Connemara trip that got cancelled, and chose the Celtic tour among the offered alternatives. It turned out to be a good idea, the tour itself was interesting for learning about irish history/background and our guide (Jonathan) was very informative and attentive.
Absolutely disappointed by Irish Day tours. I had booked for 4 for 15 July 2023...we arrived at designated meeting spot only to be informed the tour was cancelled..no email, message or phone call from the company.... terrible way to run a company..will never use their company again..
We had a wonderful time. Mr Nixon, our guide, was so nice and knowledgeable. On top of that, we were blessed with very pleasant weather.
