Onze vertegenwoordigers zullen u ophalen bij uw hotel in Delhi / NCR / Gurugram / luchthaven of op een andere locatie in Delhi om 06:00 uur en zullen doorgaan naar Agra.
Ontmoet uw gids bij aankomst in Agra en ga verder met uw bezoek aan Taj Mahal. Rond 9.30 uur bereik je de Taj Mahal. De Taj Mahal, een essentiële bezienswaardigheid voor alle bezoekers van India, is een van de pijnlijkste architectonische prestaties ter wereld en wordt beschouwd als een symbool van blijvende liefde. Een van de zeven wereldwonderen en een werelderfgoedlocatie werd gebouwd door Mughal-keizer Shah Jahan ter liefdevolle herinnering aan zijn geliefde vrouw Mumtaj Mahal, die stierf tijdens de geboorte van hun veertiende kind.
Het fort van Agra werd gebouwd door keizer Akbar in 1565 na Christus en omvat vele andere gebouwen binnen het fort, zoals de Moti-moskee, Khaas Mahal, het Jahangir-paleis en de Musamman Burj, waar vermoedelijk Shah Jahan gevangen heeft gezeten en stierf.
Lunchpauze - Na het Agra Fort neemt de gids u mee naar een 5-sterrenhotel voor de lunch.
Laatste stop om te zien Fatehpur Sikri is een kleine stad in het noorden van India, net ten westen van Agra, gesticht door een 16e-eeuwse Mughal-keizer. Rode zandstenen gebouwen clusteren in het midden. De Buland Darwaza-poort is de ingang van de Jama Masjid-moskee.

I had an amazing guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. My guide, Shahid, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the history of the places in great detail and shared many fascinating facts and interesting stories that made the visit even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized, engaging, and very informative. I learned so much and truly appreciated Shahid’s passion for the history and culture of these iconic sites. What a wonderful tour. Shahid is one of the most efficient and knowledgeable tour guides I’ve ever experienced. You can tell he’s been doing this for close to two decades based on his knowledge and expertise of Taj Mahal and the Agra area as well as the respect we observed from his fellow peers and site officials as we toured. He made our day tour to Agra and the Taj Mahal easy and memorable. It was crowded but with his navigation, it didn’t feel like it. We got the best photos and had the best lunch. Wish we had booked him as the guide for all our India tours. Superb!

We had an amazing experience with our guide, Shahid! As two young women traveling alone, feeling safe was our top priority, and he made sure we were comfortable and protected the entire time. He’s extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and took us to the best photo spots around the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Shahid also gave us helpful tips — like not bringing bags to crowded areas since there are pickpockets — which saved us a lot of time and stress at security. Little things like that showed how much he genuinely cared about our safety and experience. If you’re visiting Agra, definitely book Shahid. He’s trustworthy, professional, and truly one of the best guides we’ve ever had!

Shahid created an excellent tour for us and came highly recommended through a friend. We did a day trip to Agra from Delhi and Shahid arranged our taxi to and from our hotel to the Taj and the Agra fort. He provided an in depth tour of both locations and also took us to several stores to purchase local creations if we wished. Highly recommend for a tour of the Taj and Agra fort especially as he assisted us in finding the easiest ways into and out of both locations saving us time to enjoy the sights.

I had an amazing day thanks to my guide Mr.Shahid and driver Mr.Hashim! Hashim was punctual and very friendly, he drove safely too. He made the long drive very pleasant. I really enjoyed visiting the Taj Mahal early. When it was not crowded. Shahid shared interesting stories and facts about monument and made the visit fascinating then we went Fatehpur Sikri fort which was just mesmerising.
