Steek drie internationale grenzen over in één onvergetelijke dag. Dit is de originele Barcelona dagtrip - Spanje, Frankrijk en Andorra - en we hebben het nog beter gemaakt. Begin in het middeleeuwse dorp Bagà, genesteld in de Pyrenese uitlopers. Steek Frankrijk binnen voor een stop bij een van de meest bijzondere supermarkten die je ooit zult bezoeken, een berg Carrefour met skigondels die aan het plafond hangen en planken vol Franse wijnen, kazen en boters. Daarna gaat u verder naar La Tour de Querol, een rustig Frans dorpje waar uw Gids het verhaal vertelt van de grens die Catalonië in tweeën deelde. Van daaruit klimmen we naar 2.408 meter over de Port d'Envalira, de hoogste verharde weg in de Pyreneeën, voordat we afdalen naar Andorra la Vella met twee volle uren om te verkennen, winkelen en eten. Je bezoekt Andorra niet alleen, je doorkruist het hele land, komt vanuit Frankrijk binnen en komt in één onvergetelijke middag Spanje binnen. De route omvat ook spectaculaire berglandschappen gedurende de dag.

7:00 uur. Ontmoet uw Gids bij het Explore Catalunya kantoor, direct tegenover het Palau de la Música. Uw Gids presenteert de dag op een kaart, zodat u precies weet waar u naartoe gaat.
8.00 uur - Het eerste deel van de reis voert u langs het dramatische landschap van Montserrat. Deze iconische berg steekt dramatisch af tegen de skyline als we naar Frankrijk en Andorra gaan.
8.45u - Aankomst in dit prachtig bewaard gebleven middeleeuwse dorp aan de poort naar de Pyreneeën. Begeleide wandeling door geplaveide straatjes en het eeuwenoude plein. Tijd voor koffie en een gebakje voordat we verder noordwaarts rijden door de Tunnel del Cadí naar Frankrijk.
10.25 uur Carrefour de UR, Frankrijk (20–25 min). Een bergsupermarkt in tegenstelling tot alle andere - skigondels, een beer bij de ingang, een piano, tractoren en enkele van de beste Franse producten die je buiten Parijs vindt. Je Gids zal je al verteld hebben waar je op moet letten. De tijd is kort - mis de bus niet.
11.00 uur La Tour de Querol, Frankrijk — (35 min). Een rustig Frans dorp met een opmerkelijk verhaal. Dit is Catalunya Nord — het deel van Catalonië dat Frankrijk werd in 1659 na het Verdrag van de Pyreneeën. Je Gids brengt het tot leven.
11.35 uur - We nemen de bergweg, niet de tunnel. Klimmend naar de hoogste verharde weg (2.408 meter) in de Pyreneeën, openen de uitzichten zich over het hoogalpiene landschap voordat Andorra ver beneden verschijnt. We steken de grens over naar Andorra. Nu is het tijd om die unieke Andorra Paspoort Stempel te krijgen.
13:00 uur - Ga mee met uw Gids voor een korte wandeltocht door het historische centrum. Twee volle uren om in je eigen tempo te verkennen — belastingvrij winkelen, lunchen of gewoon ronddwalen. Ontmoet om 3 uur 's middags precies. Dit zal onze laatste stop van de dag zijn, maar je hebt genoeg tijd om een beetje belastingvrij winkelen te doen, een snel koopje te doen of door de oude stenen straten en huizen te wandelen. Om ongeveer 15:45 uur stappen we terug in de bus en rijden via een andere route terug naar Barcelona. Deze rit voert u door dramatische kloven, langs groene landbouwgrond en langs meren en rivieren, voordat het landschap egaliseert en de weelderige groentinten van de velden en het glanzende grijs van de bergrotsen worden vervangen door de stoffige oranje en bruine tinten van dit dorre landschap. Onderweg stopt u voor een kans om uw benen te strekken en uw dorst te lessen, voordat u om ongeveer 19:30 uur terugkomt in de stad
18.00 - 18.30 uur. Terug naar het centrum van Barcelona. Gids biedt diner aanbevelingen.

The tour description needs to be updated with more specific information. I didn’t realize there wasn’t much to do in Andorra except shop. Also the two stops in France were a grocery store and tiny town with one shop. We also could have stopped for better pictures. There was at least one great pull off we could have stopped at but we didn’t. The tour guide was very nice and helpful but not very enthusiastic about the places we visited.
Pablo really went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as special and memorable as possible! He gave us so many fun tidbits of information about each of the stops on our trip and you can feel how much he cares about making sure that our group was enjoying the experience Raul Will the bus driver was also really great in making sure that we got all the way to Andorra and back safely! Would absolutely recommend this to anybody who wants to take advantage of going to three countries in one day and would love to try another one of their tours the next time I’m in Barcelona!
Pablo the tour guide was very warm and kind and attentive to the passengers! Felt very warmly and positively toward Pablo. The trip itself is VERY car heavy. It’s a small bus, not a big van, and was packed to the gills. We were a family of three and were squished in back row with another couple of people. Good thing they were nice and we struck up some nice conversations. No nature time. A couple town stops very quick and then unsupervised quick 2 hours in Andorra city where most people did shopping. Would not take this tour if you are interested in scenery or nature or walking Would take this tour if you like looking at scenery through van windows No tour of old town of Andorra. Had to do that on own. Would have liked more nature time, More photographic stops, an old town tour of Andorra. Again, Pablo himself very personable and attentive to passengers. Great play list on bus! Also, set expectations well and kept track of everyone
Lots of walking on steps and uneven terrain. The scenery from the bus was beautiful. Highly recommend! Xapi was good but could work on giving better instructions especially regarding the length of time at each spot.
Our tour guide Pablo was very nice, knowledgeable, and patient with persistently late members of the tour. He was very approachable and encouraged members of the tour to participate in the conversation. Raul, our driver, was also very nice and competent. The views and stops along the way were beautiful and inspiring. The premier destination, Andorra La Vella, was a disappointment. Essentially, it was a big shopping mall. This was not at all what I expected. Perhaps future tours to Andorra could drop by Andorra La Vella, but spend some time in the surrounding areas that are more natural and allow visitors to experience the real Andorra.
Pablo, our tour guide, and Raul were great. Pablo worked so hard to make all members of the excursion feel comfortable. He imparted fascinating info about our destinations and welcomed participation from the group. He frequently checked on members of the group to ensue their comfort. Monserrat, the Pyrenees, and views on the way to the Pyrenees were magnificent. We saw lush forests, mountains aplenty, waterways, etc., that were exquisite. On the downside, Andorra La Vella was kind of disappointing. It was like a very busy shopping mall.
Our family had the most incredible day exploring three countries in just one trip — Spain, Andorra, and France, all starting from Barcelona! 🇪🇸🇦🇩🇫🇷 And what made the experience truly unforgettable was our amazing guide, Paulo. From the very beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure our family had the best possible experience. He made the journey feel effortless, fun, and incredibly special. Seeing so much in one day was absolutely breathtaking, and Paulo somehow managed to make every stop feel meaningful rather than rushed. His stories, local knowledge, great sense of humor, and attention to our family made the entire experience exceptional. Paulo was simply the best! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're visiting Barcelona and have the opportunity to take this 3-country tour with Paulo, do it without hesitation. I enjoyed this excursion very much. Our driver was excellent and our guide, Berta maintained a good balance of free time to tour with the guided portions during which she explained the significance of each place we visited. Andorra is very small, so a quick trip was perfect for me, and the rest gave me an opportunity to see more of Spain beyond Barcelona, and a chance for a glimpse of Southern France. The sights of the mountains were especially beautiful!
