French Broad Gorge wildwaterrafting trip

De Franse brede rivier overspant 218 mijl van Rosman, North Carolina door Asheville, en in de richting van de staat Tennessee. Sectie 9 van de French Broad River begint ongeveer 45 minuten van Asheville in de buurt van Marshall, North Carolina en loopt door het Pisgah National Forest. Het grootste deel van de Franse brede sectie 9 stroomt door beschermde gebieden en is geschikt voor beginners. Je gids zal je door ongeveer 5 mijl van Sectie 9 navigeren, waar je door moeilijkheidsgraden van klasse II en klasse III zult raften, en je kunt kort klasse IV-droppings tegenkomen, afhankelijk van de tijd van het jaar en de hoeveelheid regenval. Deze tour combineert een ongelooflijk stuk opwindende en continue stroomversnellingen met enkele van de meest adembenemende landschappen die er zijn.

My two siblings and I had a great time! First white water rafting experience for all of us. Definitely approachable for novices / first timers including appropriate aged children. A fun few hours on the river with our awesome guide Brent. Even the “school” bus ride to and from launch and return areas was both entertaining and scenic
Such a great experience! Brent and Mysun were great tour guides. Both knowledgeable and friendly ! River was refreshing To jump in to. Would 100% recommend!!

The guides were so nice and made everyone feel safe while also having fun. A great trip for beginners! The bus ride from Asheville is about 40 minutes each way and the rafting was about 1.5 hrs.
So much fun and beautiful scenery! I have to admit I was a little bit nervous going into our trip. On the bus ride there you are given lots of information on how to handle the unlikely event of emergency. However, as soon as our raft guide, Alyssa, started talking, I felt at ease. She guided us down the river with so much expertise and confidence, we had an absolute blast. She took the time to educate us on things about the river and point out beautiful wildlife. Myself husband and kids all had an amazing time.
We loved our whitewater rafting tour. Asheville Adventure Company was very organized and friendly. Kaetlyn was a super raft guide. It was super fun while feeling safe the whole time.
