Dit is een privé tour met een lokale Gids. De productie van druiven en wijn is een van de snelst groeiende industrieën in British Columbia. Onze VQA wijnen zijn vergelijkbaar met enkele van de beroemde wijnen van Californië. De lokale wijnhuizen zijn gelegen in de Fraser Valley net buiten de stad is het een geweldige manier om een ontspannen tijd door te brengen in een prachtige landelijke omgeving. (Wijnhuizen verzenden geen wijn naar USA)

Lulu Island Winery, op slechts 30 minuten van Vancouver, is een ideale halverwege stop op weg naar de Fraser Valley. Het wijnhuis is vooral bekend om zijn Canadese ijswijnen, waaronder een zeldzame rode blend, en biedt ook rode wijnen, rosé en Rieslings – waardoor het een goed afgeronde en plezierige proefstop is voordat je verder gaat naar het wijnland Fraser Valley.”

Leisurely afternoon with a great tour guide, Iresh. We saw the Fraser Valley countryside while on our way to the tastings. There was plenty of samples to taste at all the stops.

It was a wonderful trip. Voytek was great made the experience excellent. We went to multiple wine and sights.
We wanted to see the wine district that is close to Vancouver so we toured the Fraser Valley. It's a great little area about 30 minutes outside Vancouver. Went to 4 wineries and everyone was very nice andwines were great. Voytek our guide was pretty cool and knew his stuff about wine! We went mostly for the scenery which was awesome but were very surprised by Mead wine made from Honey!

My friend and I did this tour with Voytek and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He did a wonderful job introducing us to the area and the wineries we visited were unique, friendly, informative, and most of the wines were tasty. It was nice not having to drive ourselves since there were 25 tastings (1-2oz pours) in all! The amount of time at each stop (~30 minutes) worked out perfectly for us with plenty of time to enjoy the tasting, use the facilities, or purchase a snack. Since this was a private tour, we had pickup/dropoff at our hotel which was much appreciated. And we had a great time chatting with Voytek. I highly recommend this experience!

Enjoyable day tasting wine! Weather was perfect…. The experience was worth every penny! Though this was a private tour, we met a couple of ladies who were in another private tour we ended up spending time with. It was a great day!

Our driver was fantastic. While in the valley, he made a point to drive us along the US/Canada border, since we are from the US. The wineries were good and varied in types of wines. One specialized in honey wines. The tastings are generous and we were very glad to have a driver. We were a bit tipsy by the time we returned to Vancouver and our driver double checked to make sure we didn't leave anything in the car specifically making us check that we had our passports, covid cards, phones, and wallets on us before he left.

This was an excellent tour, even though the wine wasn't as good as I had wanted it to be. Michael took us to 3 wineries, including an unusual mead winery. Then, after lunch we visited what must be the world's (at least Canada's) biggest, in terms of different flavors, ice cream parlor. More than 200 different flavors of ice cream! An excellent tour, provided lots of context to the development of the wine culture in the area and a lot of history along the way. Great tour. Worth the money.
We had a lovely visit to four wineries yesterday. The weather was spectacular. Voytek provide great local information we travelled to the wineries. My personal favorite was Backyard winery. Very nice wines and comfortable tasting room. A great way to spend a half day outside of Vancouver and see horse country. I highly recommend Voytek Czeczott as a tour leader.
