De trein zal u verbazen met zijn route, zijn adembenemende uitzichten op de oker landschappen. 1e stop : geniet van een verfrissende wandeling langs de zeespiegel waar de rotsachtige landschappen met duizenden kleurschakeringen van stenen, met uitzicht op de blauwe transparante van de zee. Mysterieus niet verontreinigd door massatoerisme, heeft zijn sublieme landschappen zijn authenticiteit behouden voor wandelingen om zijn zeldzame parels te ontdekken en Golden Cliff Road "Corniche d'Or" te verkennen. Leer over de geschiedenis van de 2e Wereldoorlog (Landing Beach van de Provence) waar de kustlijn nog spectaculairder wordt, met grillige rode rotsachtige kliffen, wild en ongetemd, met flamboyante bergen die in intens blauw duiken. Typische lokale picknick (of restaurant) voor de lunch (op het water, alleen verse, seizoensgebonden producten). Een stop op het strand van de Amerikaanse landing in de Provence tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. We beginnen met een prachtige wandeling rond de meren (antieke blauwe steengroeven), met zeer interessante kleurcontrasten en rode rotsen met duizend tinten. Veel punten van geologische, flora en botanische interesses (of minder wandelen met een toeristische trein naar het dorp)
Kleine en charmante vissers- en jachthaven, met nautische en duikactiviteiten. Adembenemend uitzicht op het Gouden Eiland, vereeuwigd in Kuifje's beroemde stripboek "L'île Noire". Mogelijkheid tot picknick voor de lunch op picknicktafels of op een prachtig strand (opties zeebad en zwemmen of kajakken/StandUp Paddleboard of Duiken (op voorafgaand verzoek) of avontuur/ontsnappingsspellen of 4x4 buggy's - vraag vooraf om extra kosten - sommige opties zijn alleen beschikbaar voor groepen)
Nog een stuk kustpad met verrassende landschappen met rode kliffen die steil in de Middellandse Zee afdalen. Een van de hoogtepunten van het departementale natuurpark Esterel. Prachtig uitzicht, bos en rode rotsen (korte wandeling 45 minuten - lange wandeling 2 uur)
Een perfect gebogen baai met een prachtig uitzicht op Dramont en het Esterelgebergte.
Théoule, beschut in de holte van een kleine inham van de Estérel, is zowel een rustige badplaats als een paradijs met alle troeven om vakantiegangers te plezieren: turkoois water dat likt aan zandstranden in de schaduw van palmbomen, talrijke kreken van rode rotsen. De perfecte plek om te genieten van activiteiten op zee op een paradijselijke plek (peddelen, kajakken, snorkelen) of gewoon om te ontspannen en te profiteren van de prachtige landschappen en zandstranden. Bezoek aan het kasteel van Theoule (optioneel).
Een stop in het typische dorp en een gelegenheid om het ongewone kasteel te bezoeken dat de Napoule Art Foundation herbergt die in 1951 werd opgericht door Marie Clews ter nagedachtenis aan haar man, Henry Clews. Het echtpaar bracht 17 jaar door met het restaureren van het kasteel "Château de La Napoule", een voormalig middeleeuws fort dat nu de beeldhouwcollectie van Henry Clews (1876-1937) en internationale kunstprojecten herbergt.
Een van de sterke punten van de kust van Esterel, een buitengewoon schouwspel dat wordt geboden door de ontmoeting van rode rotsen die in een zee storten waar blauw en groen tinten krijgen naargelang de seizoenen.

This one-day tour took us by train from Nice to Cannes, through numerous picturesque towns and to Cap Esterel, a beautiful resort. Cyril guided us every step of the way and gave us lots of information about the area. It included a lunch at Cap Esterel and a stop in Antibes on the way back to Nice. It was an excellent tour and the price was all inclusive. Very worthwhile. One of the best tours we’ve done.

Best tour of French Riviera, covering quaint towns/villages, a castle, and an awesome scenic train ride! Scenery alone is worth the tour, and our guide Cyril surpassed all expectations with professionalism and kindness-such an expert in French history! Cyril made it a true five star experience! PS, There's a special treat for French, American, and British veterans!
Our guide Cyril is amazing. He can speak English, Italian, Spanish and Chinese in addition to his native language France. He is very knowledgeable and took us for a hiking from La Dramont to Agay with breathtaking views. He also took us to Picasso Museum and Cannes Festival and showed us many wonderful places as well as stories about local history and culture. We took so many photos. Our trip becomes memorable because of this tour and him.
Cyril was one of the best tour guides we've ever had to pleasure to have! The entire day was filled with tales of the history Nice, beautiful views, and wonderful food. We chose a more low-key adventure given the immobility of some of the members of our party, but we still felt completely enriched by the experience. Cyril was always attentive to our needs and concerns. His former career as a political speech writer for the government only enhanced his incredible knowledge of the area's complex cultural and political background and was exactly what we wanted. If you want an unparalleled view into how Nice came of age while enjoying the sights that are not Monaco and Cannes, then this is the tour for you!
Our trip was changed due to the rain and wind from the alps to Massif de l'Esterel range! . However, we had the best day hiking, side seeing and learning about the history of the area. Cyril was a wonderful tour guide, with a full bag of knowledge that he shared with the group. We had lunch in one of the local restaurants and the food was very fresh and yummy. Highly recommended!!!

It was spectacular for the views, since the day was clear, without a cloud and a radiant sun. Very hot heat. When we reach the top at 2000m. We find a small bar. Then we went up a path until we reached the lake. Precious.

Train ride through Cannes. Our guide Samuel Munro was very informative and helpful. He took us on a tour of the beaches in Cannes and tour of Medieval castle. It was eye opening.
