If you're thinking about doing a taco and tequila tour in Puerto Vallarta, book this one—you won't regret it! Gio was hands down the best tour guide we could have asked for. The tour was incredibly well thought out, taking us on a great walk through Puerto Vallarta with a perfect mix of local history, culture, amazing tacos, and incredible tequila. We loved that the stops ranged from delicious street tacos to beautiful upscale restaurants, giving us a true taste of the city. Gio was knowledgeable about everything—from the food and tequila to the history of Puerto Vallarta—and shared interesting stories throughout the tour. He also made sure everyone stayed comfortable, hydrated, and taken care of, and I appreciated that the route was planned to start and finish in air conditioning (a thoughtful touch after walking in the heat!). Beyond being a fantastic guide, Gio is genuinely a wonderful person who made the entire experience fun and welcoming. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend both this tour and Gio to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. Five stars!
Miel was our guide. It couldn’t have been better. Miel does an amazing job blending history of certain drinks and food with a fun atmosphere. When visiting PV, it’s a must do tour.
My family and I enjoyed this tour so much! The drinks were perfect and refreshing and I'll be thinking about the tacos for a lifetime. Our guide, Roberto was so friendly and informative. Wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella or poncho if you're traveling in the rainy season. It does shower briefly and periodically but nothing to keep you from this experience. I cannot say enough great things about this company and will definitely book another tour on my next trip to Puerto Vallarta.
Gio was out guide and he was amazing!!! The tacos were all absolutely delicious. I loved that he brought us to some upscale places and some small family businesses. There was also plenty of tequila!! We left feeling buzzed and full of tacos. I 100% recommend this taco tour. It was also nice to hear about some history from Gio as we went through the tour. 10/10!!!
Can't believe I haven't written a review for my second tacos and tequilas food tour until now! We went back to Vallarta in December and knew we had to introduce the family to the T&T tour. It was, unsurprisingly, fantastic. Our guide Gio was so knowledgeable and fun. The grilled cactus tacos I'd been dreaming about since February were on the menu again, and we found a few new places to visit after this second tour. I cannot recommend starting your PV trip off with this tour enough -- even if you've already done it! Each experience was different and there were enough changes to the visits that it often felt like a brand new tour. It's the best way to get your bearings in the city's best local joints. Hope to be back soon to visit your wonderful city! Xoxo
It is a walking tour rain or shine. You get to experience lots of different foods and tequilas. Would definitely do this tour again. Gio was FABULOUS!
Absolutely loved this tour! Gio is very knowledgeable and made everything so easy and fun. Would def recommend and would for sure do it again.
This was our second time doing a mexology tour, some repeats but also some new stops. Great food, great company, and a great time. The whole thing is structured so you end with a full belly and a taste of some fare you’d probably never try on your own . Highly recommend!! Silvia was a blast!
Hi Richard! Thank you for joining us again! We're thrilled that your second Mexology Tour introduced you to new flavors while still bringing back some favorite stops. This tour was amazing! Our guide, Gio, was so knowledgeable about tequila and took us to places we would never have known about if he would not have taken us there. Great food, great drinks and an all around tour that is a must do!
We ate some yummy tacos and drank some great drinks with tequila!! Great job by Gio taking us around.
Hi Dany, Thank you for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the tasty tacos, tequila drinks, and a fun evening exploring with Gio. We appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back for more delicious tacos and drinks on your next visit! Saludos, Paul M.
