Tijdens deze privé Florida Everglades Airboat-tour zal uw ervaren kapitein uw vaartuig over de rivier leiden van sawgrass en cattails met snelheden tot 40 mph (64 km), allemaal onder de dekking van het donker. Terwijl je over het moeras glijden, hoor je de oproepen en ruisen van de nachtdieren van de Everglades. Je gids zal je verhalen vertellen over de Seminole-indianen die in deze wildernis hebben gewoond, evenals de panters, vogels, slangen, kikkers, vissen en insecten die deze nationale fauna het thuis noemen. Naast dit fascinerende avontuur op een luchtschip, krijg je ook toegang tot tentoonstellingsruimtes in Sawgrass Recreation Park tijdens normale daguren. We decided to visit this park expecting a respectful experience with nature, but we left deeply disappointed. They keep alligators and reptiles in captivity within small wire enclosures, with noticeably stagnant, dirty, and unhealthily yellowish water. The worst part is that they use baby alligators for tourist entertainment, forcing them to pose for photos with their mouths completely sealed with thick black tape, which causes them evident stress. If you are looking for an authentic and respectful experience with the wildlife of the Everglades, do not come here. There are much more ethical options within the National Park.
We appreciate your visit and taking the time to write a review. Our animals are rescued and rehabilitated from injuries they suffered in the wild and they are not able to be released. We take special care to be sure our animal ambassadors are never over displayed or stressed in any way. The "tape" that is used to keep their mouth closed is actually an animal-safe, vet approved way to keep our customers safe while they enjoy this unique experience.
The experience was unique and fun for all ages - kids were entertained and the guide was knowledgeable.

It is advised to alert all costumers of the loud noise of the airboat especially for children so they can wear headphones as small children do not keep ear plugs in and the earplugs weren’t very good as one of mine tore early on!!!
It was truly a wonderful experience! We had already done a day ride and that was great too! However, there is something really special about the night ride! I recommend it highly even if you have already done it during the day. We saw lots of gators and our captain, Disco, was very knowledgeable. He could spot a gator from so far away! We were all amazed!
My sister & I just did this tour. It was exhilarating. Our operator was informative & entertaining. As we have never been on an airboat it was a new experience. One to be remembered for a long time. We saw several crocodile's in their natural habitat.

Captain disco was brilliant explaining and answering all our questions we saw several alligators which was fascinating we did a private tour as there was 8 of us. This is a must excellent value for money
