Heb je je ooit afgevraagd wat het verhaal is achter dat standbeeld in de hoek van dat kruispunt, die rots midden op een plein, die raar gevormde straatlantaarn of waarom sommige mensen die straat anders noemen dan wat er op je kaart staat? Nou, mijn vriend, die zijn de legendes van onze prachtige stad waarvan alleen wij die hier wonen het ware verhaal erachter kennen. Van generatie op generatie doorgegeven, zal ik FLORENCE met u delen zoals het nooit is verteld of in boeken is geschreven. We gaan door de hoogtepunten van de stad, maar vooral de verborgen pareltjes, waar je dingen zult zien die geen enkele rondleiding biedt en de stadsverhalen hoort die je in geen van de geschiedenisboeken kunt vinden. Ik ben niet gecertificeerd en ook niet erg goed geïnformeerd om je GESCHIEDENIS te vertellen, die je gemakkelijk online kunt vinden, maar ik zal de verhalen en legendes van deze stad met je delen die alleen wij, de mensen van Florence, kennen en die we met verhalen kunnen doorgeven. Ik schenk je mijn sleutels om tijdens je verblijf extraatjes te ontgrendelen bij mijn lokale favorieten in Florence

Don’t miss this if you want to get to the DNA of Florence! Roberto will make your trip more than a visit - he will bring those mute walls of basilicas and palaces to life. He speaks like he knew the Medici family and the artists personally. Absolutely worth it

The bike tour certainly lived up to the hype! My husband and I loved our tour led by Roberto. We were lucky enough to get a private tour — and we walked away with so many new and interesting facts about the history and places that make the city unique. We love Florence and have visited many, many times, but we both gained a new appreciation and understanding of the city’s rich history. Roberto is an amazing storyteller. He gives so much interesting context on Florence and the figures that make it what it is. The city really came to life for me as he pointed out not only historic sights bur also the tensions that arose between dueling families and competitive artists/thinkers. Most notably, Roberto is funny and engaging. And he is passionate about Florence.
If you're curious about this tour I can't recommend it enough. Roberto gave a really fun and engaging tour and gave us excellent recommendations for food and fun. We did it our first night and Florence and his recommendations have given us a new curiosity and excitement about the city. Florence is easily the one of the most beautiful cities in the world and this tour was an excellent introduction to it.
