Ontmoet onze gids voor Colonna San Zanobi, naast het Baptisterium. Bewonder het Baptisterium van buitenaf.
Bewonder de klokkentoren van Giotto en de bouw van Francesco Talenti van buitenaf. De klokkentoren is een gotisch meesterwerk uit de 14e eeuw van Giotto di Bondone, versierd met ingewikkeld marmer en sculpturen, en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. In de 14e eeuw droeg Talenti bij aan de uitbreiding van de kathedraal, waardoor de kerk in 1357 de grootste werd die ooit in Europa werd gebouwd.
Bewonder de Arnolfo-toren van buitenaf. Een historische toren naast het Palazzo Vecchio, ontworpen door Arnolfo di Cambio in de 14e eeuw. Bekend om zijn middeleeuwse architectuur en biedt een inkijkje in de rijke geschiedenis van Florence.

Our tour was canceled. We we not notified beforehand and waited at the meeting spot until another tour company told us ours was canceled. Given our time in the city we were not able to reschedule. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.
The Duomo is a must-see when in Rome! Stunning architecture! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Duomo.

You get to the front of the line right from the start, tickets checked and audio system handed out. Guide is there on time and talks until doors open at 10:15am. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke very clearly. A great experience.

Julia was very knowledgeable and personable. She prepared us for the Duomo during the short wait. She explained what life was like in 13th century Florence. She explained the importance of the Baptistry to the cathedral.

Skip the line isn’t skip the line. Waited in line for almost an hour might as well have saved my money and did general entrance into the church. Baptistery and museum tickets were not provided until I asked the tour guide and she called back to your office to get them. Not very well organized. Guide was informative that is my only positive.

The description is misleading in several ways. Tour set to start at 9:45 with meeting time at 9:30 with a stated duration of about an hour. And sold as a skip-the-line experience. One hour into the tour we were still standing in a very long line that is also mostly in the sun. Maybe the line was shorter than the general line, but the general line is in the shade. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but this just was not what we purchased. We had other plans for the day and had only allotted 90 minutes to this tour and basically had to leave as soon as we finally entered the cathedral. Would not recommend if you are looking for a shorter and faster experience.

Backpacks and bare shoulders not allowed. “Skip the line” must be Italian for “wait in line”. But our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very passionate about the Duomo. Highly recommend!
