It could have been a relaxing hour but the loud music playing made it more like a party boat. When the skipper/guide spoke, which wasn’t very often, she was difficult to understand because of the raised volume and ‘blown’ speakers (at least on the lower deck). We mistakenly thought it would be a learning tour, about York. Not so. The fish and chips were good.
I really enjoyed it the fish and chips were lovely and just enough, the driver was very informative about the history with added humour. Breakdown added to the experience.
Great way to spend lunch on cruise up and down the river Ouse! Listening to fun facts about York too from the Captain. Fish and chips were of a high standard and well worth having before setting off on the river cruise.

Fantastic experience. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had the fish & chips which were exceptional quality and appreciated the vegan and gluten free options for members of our party. 20% discount at the bar was a plus & the cruise itself was very picturesque relaxing and informative. Would very highly recommended.
Nice trip but I thought it just wasn't long enough by the time you had fish and chips and a drink it was nearly time to get off.
Really disappointed after reading some reviews, the fish and chips although very hot were tasteless and with soggy batter, the cruise was a bit boring lasting 50 mins and not much to see.

An enjoyable trip spent on the river ouse. The fish and chips were plentiful and served straight away. The commentary from Andy was very informative and entertaining. Ellie was very professional serving drinks/making sure we got on and off the boat safely.
