Is Singapore overdag of 's nachts mooier? Ontdek het zelf tijdens deze ontspannende fietstour door Downtown Singapore. Terwijl we van licht naar nacht fietsen, ervaart u zowel het ongelooflijke uitzicht over de stad overdag als 's nachts. In 3 uur bezoekt u de etnische wijken van Singapore - Kampong Glam, Little India en Chinatown - voordat u naar Marina Bay gaat om getuige te zijn van de spectaculaire transformatie van de skyline van de stad van dag tot nacht. Laat onze lokale Gids je meenemen naar de leukste fotoplekken en deel veel leuke weetjes over onze stad met je. Zorg ervoor dat je mobiele telefoon volledig opgeladen is, zodat je veel foto's kunt maken! Dit is ons startpunt/ontmoetingsplaats. Het ligt naast uitgang A van het MRT-station Nicoll Highway. U zou een taxistandplaats moeten kunnen vinden in de buurt van taxistandplaats F21.
Kampong Glam is een wijk en etnische enclave in Singapore. Het ligt ten noorden van de rivier de Singapore, in het plangebied Rochor, bekend als de Maleis-moslimwijk.
Masjid Sultan is een vooraanstaande moskee in Singapore en een prominent monument in het Kampong Glam Malay Heritage District. De wijk is een uitstalraam waar toeristen de religie, cultuur en de diverse etnische groep waaruit de islamitische Singaporezen vandaag de dag bestaan, kunnen leren kennen en begrijpen.
Haji Lane is een smalle straat met kleurrijke winkelpanden, cafés, bars, winkels en graffitimuren. Ontdek de verborgen juweeltjes, van Mexicaans eten tot vintage items, en geniet van het nachtleven bij Bar Stories en Going On.
Dunlop Street is voornamelijk bezaaid met bescheiden winkelpanden van twee verdiepingen, die goede voorbeelden zijn van winkelpandarchitectuur met terrassen, en beschikt ook over een paar decoratieve huizen. De eetgelegenheden aan de zijstraten van deze straat serveren een grote verscheidenheid aan gerechten en worden bezocht door toeristen en de lokale bevolking. De afgelopen jaren hebben zich in het gebied pubs en backpackershostels ontwikkeld.
Het National Museum of Singapore is een openbaar museum gewijd aan de Singaporese kunst, cultuur en geschiedenis. Gelegen in het Civic District van het land in het Downtown Core-gebied, is het het oudste museum van het land, met een geschiedenis die teruggaat tot de tijd dat het voor het eerst werd opgericht in 1849, beginnend als een gedeelte van een bibliotheek van het Singapore Institution als de Raffles Bibliotheek en Museum.
Chinatown is een subzone en etnische enclave in het Outram-district in het centrale gebied van Singapore. Met duidelijk Chinese culturele elementen heeft Chinatown een historisch geconcentreerde etnisch-Chinese bevolking gehad.
Lau Pa Sat is een historisch markt- en voedselcentrum in Singapore en biedt een verscheidenheid aan keukens, van lokaal tot internationaal.
Merlion Park is een beroemd oriëntatiepunt in Singapore en een belangrijke toeristische attractie, gelegen nabij het Central Business District (CBD). De Merlion is een mythisch wezen met een leeuwenkop en het lichaam van een vis dat veel wordt gebruikt als mascotte en nationale personificatie van Singapore.
Clifford Pier was de landingsplaats van zeepassagiers en immigranten die in Singapore een nieuw leven van hoop kwamen zoeken. Vernoemd naar de gouverneur Sir Hugh Charles Clifford. Clifford Pier werd geopend in 1933, ter vervanging van de Johnston Pier die ooit vlakbij stond, tegenover het Fullerton Square. Johnston Pier, gebouwd in 1855, is vernoemd naar de prominente koopman Alexander Laurie Johnston. Voor veel lokale mensen staat Clifford Pier ook wel bekend als de Red Lamp Pier, omdat er vroeger een rode olielamp aan de pier hing die als richtingaanwijzer voor zeevarenden diende.
Marina Bay Sands, een historische bestemming in Singapore. De tijd dat we hier aankomen, gaat de zon onder. Het is tijd voor Sunset Photo Ops.

We loved our Light to Night bike tour with Alvin. Such a fabulous way to see the different parts of the city, and finished with an amazing sunset around Marina Bay. Alvin knew all the best spots to get great photos!! Highly recommend for the whole family.
Holden was really great, very very enthusiastic and particularly friendly! The bike tour was so much fun! We have seen so much of the city in a few hours, he has told many things that you would not know with just walking through the city. Definitely recommended!
Great tour. We saw heaps more than we would've had we just hired bikes independently. Gave us a good idea of places we might explore further. Our guide have us an insight into some history and facts about Singapore that enriched our stay. Highly recommend this tour.

More than just a guide, he made me feel like I was exploring the city with a local friend who genuinely loves sharing his home. The Light to Night Bike Tour was the perfect way to discover parts of Singapore I never would have found on my own. Alvin shared fascinating stories, local insights, food recommendations, and hidden gems that brought the city to life. His passion and knowledge were infectious. I was especially lucky with the timing, starting in daylight and watching the city transform as night fell was incredible. The beautiful light show was the icing on the cake and created some unforgettable moments and amazing photos. The pace was relaxed, the route was well thought out, and I always felt safe and comfortable. By the end of the tour, I genuinely felt like I’d experienced Singapore as locals rather than tourists. My wife and I did this tour with Alvin and it was the highlight of our trip to Singapore. We visited places we would have never thought of, and learnt so much about the history and cultural heritage. Alvin was sharing personal stories along the way which made it more special. We're 50 and average fitness, and beside a sore bum, we completed the ride with no issues. We would recommend this to everyone. W&B
The overall experience was really fantastic and met most of our expectations. Key positives were the cheerful and helpful attitude of our guide Alvin, his attention to details and safety and decent quality of bikes. On improvement front, maybe slightly more emphasis can be given on explaining history around the places we visited in a slight more detailed manner. Don’t get me wrong, Alvin did explain associated history and it could be more than sufficient for many other travelers!! Would definitely recommend this tour to others.
The Singapore light to night bike tour was the perfect introduction to the bustling island. Our guide, Alvin, was passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge of Singapore’s history and culture. Using bicycles is the perfect way to see a lot in a short time. The streets and lights come alive as the sun sets and the coolness of the night makes it a joy to ride around. We saw more landmarks and points of interest in our 3 hour tour than we could have seen ourselves in 4 days. A highlight was riding through the middle of a shopping mall (legally). Alvin also dabbles in night time photography so we have some special souvenirs to remind us of our time in Singapore. Can’t recommend this tour enough as the perfect way to orient yourself in Singapore.
I did the light to night bike tour with Holden, and what a wonderfully warm and joyful guide he was. He had all these scenic and beautiful points set out for photos, and he offered to shoot them for us. He shared such random facts throughout the city that i never would've come across from googling. He was so helpful at handling situations that naturally come up during the tour, like finding us a water station, and fixing my bike chain when it came off. You know when I was booking the tour, I saw so many good reviews about Holden, I secretly wished he would be the guide, and even with my high expectations, he surpassed them. A note for fellow travellers, there are some narrow turns and busy areas along the tour, so either be prepared to walk your bike or maybe you know how to move like that!
