Geen bezoek aan Amsterdam is compleet zonder fietsavontuur! Ga met ons mee en fiets als een echte local door het prachtige Nederlandse platteland. Tijdens deze 2,5 uur durende rondleiding laat je de stad achter je en ontdek je een wereld van windmolens, boerderijen, brouwerijen, polders en weidse landschappen die Nederland kenmerken. Uw Expert Gids leidt u veilig over schilderachtige fietspaden door het laagland, waar u leert hoe Nederlands op ingenieuze wijze omgaan met een land dat grotendeels onder zeeniveau ligt. Onderweg bewonder je traditionele boerderijen, hoor je verhalen over Nederlandse kaastradities en zie je de hoogste houten windmolen van de teller, een waar icoon van landelijk Nederland. Deze tour is perfect voor wie op zoek is naar frisse lucht, natuur en een voorproefje van het authentieke Nederlandse leven op slechts enkele minuten van Amsterdam. The ride was nice and easy, Augustine was really friendly and knew alot about the area. If you get the 3 hr with a cruise, the bike ride is actually only 2 1/2, then you have to walk to the cruise boat ( you have abt 30 mins to get there) and that is another hour.

We signed up for this on a whim at the end of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed traveling through Amsterdam's countryside. We were a little intimidated to ride bikes throughout our week in Amsterdam. However, if we had done this excursion at the beginning of our trip, that hesitation may not have been present. Our guide was great, took us through the countryside, stopped for ice cream, told us about some of the different sites we were seeing. It was overall an excellent experience.

They gave me a hollowed tire and we had to wait 20 minutes in the middle of the cold for the guy to bring another to continue the ride.

It was a fantastic ride. The little Dutch villages are beautiful and this bike route is a different and special way to see them, Dutch style. We have felt more confident when it comes to cycling accompanied by a professional, very attentive and friendly. Recommended 100%!

Veronica was our amazing tour guide. She was personable and shared a lot of facts from the area, as well as answered all our questions. One tip: bring your energy! You will ride for about 2.5 hours, including steep hills. There will be a few stops for photo ops, but no breaks for food. .Bring a small backpack for water as there is no room on the bike for bottles. The bikes were brand new, and the people at the store, super friendly. It can be intimidating riding through the city to the ferry but Veronica made us feel safe. Highly recommended!

We didn’t end up going because it was raining quite hard the day of our tour — just be aware that they will not cancel it due to rain and they don’t offer refunds if it’s raining, so you might lose money if the Amsterdam weather doesn’t favor you! Or else you might just end up biking in the rain. We wouldn’t have minded a little bit of bad weather, but unfortunately it was heavily raining when we were supposed to go. It seemed like it would have been fun!
We overall had a very nice time. I personally felt like it was a long time on a cruiser bike and could have been like 30-45 min shorter. The chaos of getting out of the city to the countryside was a little scary but once in the countryside it was lovely. Our guide had a flat tire on the way but she was a total trooper and still finished the tour. Shout out to her for that! Overall good experience. Also I’ll say the company was trustworthy and all the meeting information accurate.

The bikes were not in very good condition. The bikes were not very well fitted for the riders and the tour leader did not have tools to make adjustments or repairs along the way. One adult was given a child’s bike that was too small for her. Riders were not offered helmets. The route was nice, but tour leader did not provide very much information along the way, nor did he provide information about stopping points - as in, ‘we will ride for about 30 minutes, then we’ll have a break’ Overall this was not a good experience for me and my spouse.
