De fietstocht die laat zien hoe de stad is gepland. Singapore is een jonge natie die minder dan 60 jaar onafhankelijk is geweest, gedurende deze tijd groeide ze van een derdewereldland naar een eerstewereldnatie, ondanks de snelle ontwikkeling, we hebben onze cultuur, ons erfgoed behouden en creëerden een tuinstad. We zullen je de essentie van Singapore laten zien, dit is geen gewone tour die alleen ingaat op geschiedenis en cultuur, maar tijdens deze tour zullen we je de magie van Singapore laten zien, het tempo van onze ontwikkeling en groei van de stad. De rit brengt ons door Chinatown, Kampong Glam en het Civic district en zakendistrict. The Arts House is een gebouw in Singapore. Het is momenteel een multidisciplinaire kunstlocatie waar kunsttentoonstellingen en concerten worden gehouden. Het Old Parliament House is gebouwd in 1827 en is het oudste overheidsgebouw en misschien het oudste nog bestaande gebouw in Singapore.
De National Gallery Singapore is een kunstmuseum in de binnenstad van Singapore. Geopend op 24 november 2015, houdt het toezicht op 's werelds grootste openbare verzameling van Singaporese en Zuidoost-Aziatische kunst, bestaande uit meer dan 8.000 kunstwerken.
Dit is zonder meer het beroemdste hotel in Singapore en geen ander etablissement belichaamt de koloniale geschiedenis van het eiland beter dan Raffles Singapore. Vernoemd naar de oprichter van Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles, werd het hotel gebouwd door de Sarkies Brothers, verantwoordelijk voor andere luxe hotels in de regio tijdens het koloniale tijdperk.
Haji Lane bevindt zich in de wijk Kampong Glam in Singapore. Jongeren bezoeken de winkelhuizen langs deze baan voor de onafhankelijke modeboetieks en cafés in het Midden-Oosten. Haji Lane dankt zijn naam aan de bedrijven hier.
Masjid Sultan, of Sultan-moskee, is een moskee in Muscat Street en North Bridge Road in het Kampong Glam-district van het district Rochor in Singapore. Het is vernoemd naar Sultan Hussein Shah. In 1975 werd het aangewezen als nationaal monument.
Kallang Riverside Park is een rivierpark in Kallang, Singapore. Het ligt aan de samenvloeiing van de Kallang-rivier en de Rochor-rivier, ten noorden van het Kallang-bekken.
De Singapore Sports Hub is een volledig geïntegreerde hub voor sport, entertainment en lifestyle in Kallang, Singapore. Gebouwd in 2014 om sport- en entertainmentevenementen te organiseren, verving het in 2001 het voormalige nationale stadion op aanbeveling van de toenmalige minister van Gemeenschapsontwikkeling en sport Abdullah Tarmugi in het parlement.
Gardens by the Bay is een natuurpark van 101 hectare teruggewonnen land in de centrale regio van Singapore, grenzend aan het Marina Reservoir. Het park bestaat uit drie tuinen aan het water: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden en Bay Central Garden.
De Marina Barrage is een dam in Singapore gebouwd aan de samenvloeiing van vijf rivieren, over het Marina Channel tussen Marina East en Marina South. Het werd officieel geopend op 30 oktober 2008 als het vijftiende reservoir van Singapore. Het biedt wateropslag, overstromingscontrole en recreatie.

Brilliant bike tour. I thoroughly recommend it. Great for orientation in the city. Visited virtually all the main tourist districts. Tang was an excellent guide - very informative and considerate. The cycling was manageable even for older and infrequent cyclists like me, as there were plenty of stops, even though it was pretty hot by the last hour. The early start was great - much cooler and quieter.
This was one of our highlights of visiting Singapore. Fun to bike down the formula one track. Fred was great with my 11 year old and interesting to talk to about every day life in Singapore. Take plenty of water.
Gene was such a great guide! He answered any and all questions and adapted the group to me. When we had a short rains storm he quickly adapted and shared some awesome food with me in the hawkers center. I was so impressed that he followed up with an email outlining energy we saw on our tour with pictures! He truly goes above and beyond. Definitely recommend this tour!
We did bike tour with Leo on our first full day Singapore. It was an excellent intro to the city and we greatly enjoyed all the conversations we had with Leo. He speaks English very well and has a vast knowledge of the area. Recommend 100%!
The tour was private and felt personalized for a tourist like me. This was my second tour with Leo. It was informative and customized to my interest which was the the humble beginnings and development to modern day Singapore. Leo was ready to answer any questions I have and was amazing. I highly recommend the bike tour if your comfortable riding a bike on the streets and navigating through crowds. If not, I highly recommend the walking city tour with Leo. My first tour with Leo was the walking tour where we got to see sights and check out the local scenes. It was great because there is no way in hell I would of found out any of this stuff on my own. The tour was so good that’s when I booked the bike tour so I could see more of the city on short notice. Singapore has so much to offer that I know I’ll be back in the future with friends and will definitely book a tour with Leo so they can learn about Singapore and I can re-learn as well as learn new stuff along the way. I recommend everyone to do the tour with Leo
This is a follow-on review from the China Town Food Walking Tour we did the previous week. We got so much out of that walking food tour we booked Leo’s Singapore River bicycle tour for the following week. Here we enjoyed 4 plus hours of easy cycling along the waterfront areas, past government buildings and places of significant importance. A totally different view of the city on two wheels as opposed to walking and one I’d recommend checking out if you have the time. Again, Leo’s knowledge and infectious personality shone through as he explained how places have grown, changed and developed into what we see today. Photo opportunities are endless and if you have one, attach a GoPro to the bike-you’ll capture some amazing footage. I think whichever tour you book you’ll have an excellent time and you’ll come away knowing so much more about Singapore than you ever thought you knew, all whilst in the company of Leo. It’s like spending time with a friend you’ve known for years.
My sister and I enjoy the learning about Singapore culture and Food. 💯 love his passion about home. We love every moment of it. He truly old school person. But full of knowledge and wisdom.
We did both the city bike tour and food tour. Leo was such a great guide! He knows all the facts and history of Singapore and he narrates it in such a interesting way that there was never a full moment. He showed us all the photos short spots and stories that only the local would have knew about. The food tour was great, we tried a variety of really good local food until we could not move! Will definitely recommend my friends to join Leo’s tour
Leo is the kind om man who sends you a day in advance a message so you feel very welcome. He arranged a large bike for my son who is very tall. Has nice stories about Singapore!
The tour was well thought and very organized. Although it started with a drizzle, the entire route was planned with just the right amount of rest stops for breaks and explanations on icons/heritage. The ride weaved us through nature and the built environment, bringing us closer to architectural buildings of different times, heritage trees, and history of singapore. Highly recommended even for locals.
