Ervaar de geschiedenis van de Berlijnse Muur in een 3,5 uur durende fietstocht. Wat gebeurde er in Berlijn na de Tweede Wereldoorlog? Hoe komt het dat ze een muur hebben gebouwd en wat betekent dat voor de Berlijners aan beide kanten? Tijdens een fietstocht langs de voormalige Berlijnse Muur geven we je een idee van hoe het leven was en hoe Berlijn de afgelopen decennia opnieuw werd.

De Brandenburger Tor in Berlijn is een vroege classicistische triomfpoort die op de westflank van het plein Pariser Platz in de Berlijnse wijk Mitte staat.
Het Berlin Wall Memorial herdenkt de verdeling van Berlijn door de muur en de doden bij de Berlijnse muur.
Mauerpark is een park in Berlijn. De naam gaat terug naar de Berlijnse muur die in 1961 werd gebouwd en de grens vormde tussen de voormalige districten Prenzlauer Berg en Wedding. Dit is de grens tussen de districten Prenzlauer Berg en Gesundbrunnen.

De Berlijnse Kulturbrauerei is een gebouwencomplex van 25.000 m². Met zijn binnenplaatsen en unieke architectuur is het een monumentaal pand sinds 1974 en is het een van de weinige goed bewaarde industriële architecturale monumenten in Berlijn uit het einde van de 19e eeuw.

Checkpoint Charlie was een van de grensovergangen van Berlijn door de Berlijnse muur tussen 1961 en 1990 en verbond de Sovjet- en Amerikaanse sectoren in Friedrichstrasse tussen Zimmerstrasse en Kochstrasse, waardoor het Oost-Berlijnse district Mitte met het West-Berlijnse district Kreuzberg werd verbonden.
Tear Palace is de spreektaal in Berlijn in de volksmond voor de voormalige uitgangshal van de grensovergang Bahnhof Friedrichstraße in de verdeelde stad Berlijn tussen 1961 en 1989.

We rode with Guy with two couples. Loud voice and passionate narrator over the wall. In just over 3 hours much seen and heard. Top that he gave us a top 10 must see at the end. By bike the best way to discover Berlin.
Informative and relaxed cycle tour taking in cold war history and opportunity to explore different areas of the city.
Because of the extreme heat, my son and I were the only participants and got a private tour. We both found it incredibly fun and interesting. Our German guide (spoke good Dutch), was super nice and knew how to illuminate the experiences and events nicely from different points of view and interests. Highly recommended for several generations.

Very personal tour with great insights off the beaten path. Many memories from the Cold War era were awakened, paired with impressions of what became of it during and after the reunification. Olli was a fantastic tour guide!
