Fiets 62 kilometer pure adrenaline af langs een van de gevaarlijkste wegen ter wereld. Van 4700 meter boven zeeniveau, over uitdagende bergen en intimiderende kliffen, tot 1180 meter boven zeeniveau.

06:30 - 07:15 VERZAMELPLAATS: Hostal LA POSADA DE LA ABUELA OBDULIA om 06:30 uur, gelegen op Linares Street 947, voor een lokaal ontbijt en u krijgt een complete fietsuitrusting.
07:15 - 09:00 La Cumbre is een bergpas op ongeveer 4.700 meter boven de zeespiegel, aan de rand van La Paz. Omgeven door imposante met sneeuw bedekte bergtoppen is dit het startpunt van de beroemde Death Road. Vanaf hier kunnen reizigers genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over het Andesgebergte, voordat ze beginnen aan de afdaling naar de tropische valleien van de Yungas.
09:00 - 10:30 AFDALING. - De afdaling is ongeveer 62 km, waarvan de eerste 20 km over verharde wegen.
10:30 - 14:30 DE WEG VAN DE DOOD: De resterende 42 km rijdt u over een onverharde weg. Tijdens de reis kunt u genieten van ongelooflijke landschappen en watervallen. Er zullen verschillende stops zijn om uit te rusten, foto's te maken en te ziplinen (optioneel en met een meerprijs van 80.-Bs). U bereikt een hoogte van 1200 meter boven zeeniveau.
14:30 - 16:00 LUNCH EN PAUZE: Aan het einde van de tour gaan we met vervoer naar HOTEL DOS RÍOS CAMPING, waar een heerlijk LUNCHBUFFET op ons wacht. Daar kunt u ook gebruik maken van de douches en een welverdiende pauze nemen in het zwembad.
16:00 - 19:30 TRANSFER NAAR LA PAZ: De terugreis vindt plaats per transport over de asfaltweg, een rit van ongeveer 3 uur. Eenmaal in La Paz zetten we je af in het stadscentrum (2 blokken van de San Francisco-kerk)

I think it was the greatest madness I've ever done and, frankly, I'd do it again. The Red Line was great from start to finish. We had the downtime of the blockages that prevented us from finishing the last 8km, but they bypassed all the adversities that they had.

The bus drivers are extremely disrespectful. They spoke to us in a very aggressive manner and with total disrespect, insulted my friend. Because of the blockade we were taken to a very ugly food place, which did not compensate with the package of more than 500 Bolivians we had paid. Very old and dangerous bikes, nothing to do with what was announced. I don't recommend it to anyone, worse to any foreigner.
It was an interesting tour, many photos were taken by the guides. However, these were in poor quality. The downlaod should work with a link about we-transfer and be valid for 3 days. After 1 day the link stopped working and "red line biking" did not respond to my message. Accordingly, I do not recommend this organization!
Had a great experience biking the Death Road with Red Line Biking! It was extremely affordable compared to other companies, but still served a quality trip. The bikes were really comfortable (full suspension) and the guide was very experienced, helpful and funny! Thanks again for the great day, would highly recommend Red Line Biking to anyone.

We found Red Line Biking in the street and they initially seemed very professional. The day before, everything was well organised – we got breakfast, all the necessary gear, and were told the group would have a maximum of 8 people. We were the last two to join, so this sounded ideal. However, on the actual day there were around 11 people in the group, which already felt like too many. The group had a big mix of abilities, with some riders wanting to go very fast while others preferred a more controlled pace. Unfortunately, the guide clearly catered more to the faster riders. At times, the guide was so far ahead that those of us at the back couldn’t even see his hand signals, meaning we had to judge the road conditions ourselves. This felt quite unsafe, especially on a route like Death Road. One person in our group even had an accident, which added to the concern. We were told we would stop regularly for photos, but because the front of the group moved so quickly, by the time we arrived it was often time to leave again. Many of the stops felt rushed and we didn’t even get the chance to take proper individual photos like other groups seemed to. A lot of the ride felt like we were essentially on our own rather than part of a guided group, which isn’t what you expect from this kind of tour. That said, the overall experience itself is incredible and definitely worth doing. The bikes and gear were decent, and the lunch and swim at the end were also enjoyable. I’m not new to mountain biking, but even I felt the pace was unnecessarily fast and, at times, unsafe. It really felt like the group had been overbooked. Overall: amazing experience, but the organisation and pacing need improvement.

It was all perfect. They were punctual, gave the equipment correctly, gave support throughout the journey and lunch was in a very tasty place afterwards. It was my second time on Death Road and the first time with this agency, I highly recommend.

A nice experience, great agency, has a coffee in the morning, we left the van until the start of the tour, great bikes.. very attentive staff... Just go, you won't regret it.

Just extraordinary. Superb organization, punctuality, complete equipment for the client, very prepared guides, prudent drivers. The route is dizzying, the guides give precise instructions. Being in the descent the fatigue occurs in hands and forearms, by the very irregular and stony track. We have to dose it. We went from the snows of the Andean peak to the Amazonian heat in half a day ending in a campsite with a pool.

I was the only one who fell out of the group of my friends, don’t hurt me thanks to the team I was given, however falling made my experience more beautiful and complete, obviously I will go back to do the path of death ❤️🔥
