Deze tour is een uitstekende optie als je maar beperkte tijd hebt, zoals fietsen en de hoogtepunten van het historische park Ayutthaya wilt leren kennen en bezoeken. In slechts 3 uur fietsen we in een rustig tempo naar en door het historische park en vertellen we je de geschiedenis en impact van Ayutthaya, de voormalige hoofdstad van Siam.
We stoppen bij Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, de belangrijkste tempel van Ayutthaya en gelegen op het terrein van het Koninklijk Paleis.
De volgende stop is bij Wat Mahathat, vooral bekend om zijn fotogenieke Boeddha's hoofd verstrengeld in de wortels van een boom. Het is een van de meest herkenbare afbeeldingen uit Thailand en is te vinden op veel ansichtkaarten en reisboeken.
Onze eerste stop is bij Pom Phet of "Diamond Fortress", een van de zestien forten langs de stadsmuren van Ayutthaya. Hoewel het fort gedeeltelijk is verwoest, geeft het nog steeds de eerste indrukken van oude reizigers van het koninkrijk Siam weer.
De tour brengt ons vervolgens naar het wereldberoemde Ayutthaya Historical Park, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed sinds 1991. Hier zien we de ruïnes van de oude tempels.

We had the funnest day with our lovely, social and amazing guide. Turned out we had a private tour today!! We got a cold bottle of water and a helmet and a bike each. The 2 boys (11 and 13) got a cool Mountain bike and i was very thankfull with my city bike. Our guide brought us to beautiful tempels and explained the buddist believes and stories from the walls on the inside of the royal buddist temple, explained the history of Ayutthaya and the input from foreign countries. We got to taste the interesting but lovely sweet local treat and took in the most indescribable, picturesque scenery. The boys were imagining all sorts of adventures stories here. It was intensely hot and we got some umbrellas to walk around with. Our guide was full of energy and passion. Answered every question and took care of us well. Would advise this trip to anyone!
