Heb je je ooit afgevraagd welke geheimen de stadsparken hebben en welke verborgen verhalen ze kunnen ontrafelen? Als je dat hebt gedaan, is het tijd dat je het uitzoekt. Ga met me mee op de fietstocht door enkele van de mooiste parken in Belgrado en leer wat ze je te vertellen hebben over Belgrado en zijn mensen. Hoor over de afgelopen eeuwen en leer over enkele van de meest intrigerende personages van Belgrado. We fietsen door de straten van de stad en gebruiken waar mogelijk de fietspaden. In het Tašmajdan-park, dat midden in de tour ligt, gaan we wat drinken in het café "Poslednja šansa" ("Laatste kans", je hoort waarom het zo wordt genoemd). We bezoeken de volgende parken: Liberators of Belgrade Memorial Park, Botanical garden, Academic Park, Pioneers Park, Tašmajdan Park, Manjež Park, Vukov Park. Hoewel elk park een uniek verhaal te vertellen heeft, hebben ze allemaal een gemeenschappelijke achtergrond en is het niet alleen de stad waarin ze bestaan. Ga met me mee op ontdekkingstocht!

Eerste park op de tour, gewijd aan de gevallen soldaten die deelnamen aan de gevechten voor de bevrijding van Belgrado in de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Dit is onze tweede stop. We lopen door de enige botanische tuin in Belgrado. Ik zal enkele verhalen vertellen die verband houden met deze locatie.
De derde stop is het Studentski-park waarrond we veel belangrijke gebouwen met interessante geschiedenis kunnen zien.
Vierde halte is het Pionirski-park waarin de oude en nieuwe koninklijke paleizen zich bevinden.
We zullen een korte stop maken voor de drankjes in het Tasmajdan-park.
Onze vijfde stop is het Manjež-park, een leuke plek in het stadscentrum met veel historz.
Onze zesde stop is het Karađorđev Park, een plaats waar Karađorđe zijn hoofdkwartier vestigde tijdens het beleg van Belgrado 1806-1807

We had the great pleasure of experiencing a bike tour of Belgrade with Slobodan, and it was just fantastic! Slobodan not only showed us the main sights of the city, but also shared with us deep knowledge about the history, culture and many facets of Belgrade. His explanations were exciting, informative and often seasoned with small anecdotes that brought us closer to the city in a very personal way. His insider knowledge was particularly impressive – we discovered places and heard stories you wouldn’t find in any guidebook. Slobodan answered every question patiently and his enthusiasm for Belgrade was infectious. Biking in Belgrade through the parks and the Serbian history under the very pleasant guidance of Slobodan. Now and then a little bit steep streets but perfectly manageable with the sporty bike. I learned a lot about the Serbian history - very interesting! I would really recommended this trip, even for solo travellers.

The guide has great knowledge about the city and its complex history. This tour is perfect for an 101 intro of Belgrade.
Excellent tour of Belgrade! Very scenic stops at various parks with important buildings nearby. Sloba is very knowledgeable regarding the history, architecture and infrastructure of the city. He takes great care to present the information in an enthusiastic manner along with visual aids. The cycling was a good amount of exercise but not too strenuous. Highly recommended tour!

This was my second tour with Slobodan. The first tour was his walking tour in January 2022. I enjoy how Slobodan organizes and presents information. He is also engaging and interactive. My first tour with him taught me a lot about iconic Serbian historical figures which gave me insight into Serbian culture. The bike tour was just as good and I will do again when I return to Belgrade. I’m pretty scared of cars so this was the second time I have done urban biking in my life but I felt safe. I would recommend the walking tour if you are not confident about your biking skills.

This was an unbelievable experience filled with so much history knowledge and fun rides. Slobodan was such a fun tour guide and took really good care of us throughout the whole ride. We learned so much about Belgrade and have seen so much beauty in just a few hours and plus we did a hell of an exercise with our bikes. The tour had incredible stops filled with so much history but also green beauty and it peaked to an amazing sunset view over drinks treated by Slobodan. Will definitely rebook once we are back in Belgrade. This experience was the highlight of our trip. Triple thumbs up 😊
