Het heiligdom van Onze Lieve Vrouw van Fátima is één van de meest beroemde Maria-heiligdommen ter wereld. Ongeveer vier miljoen mensen bezoeken Fátima elk jaar, aangetrokken door de verschijningen van de Maagd Maria zoals gemeld door drie plaatselijke schaapsherderkinderen in 1917.
Het klooster van de Dominicanen van Batalha werd gebouwd ter nagedachtenis aan de overwinning van de Portugezen op de Castilianen in de slag bij Aljubarrota in 1385.
Nazaré is een van de mooiste badplaatsen in Portugal en is bij uitstek een bestemming voor een vakantie. De stad is gelegen aan een brede baai van goudkleurige stranden en bevindt zich in de schaduw van de torenhoge landtong Sítio. Historisch gezien bood deze landtong onderdak aan de vissersvloot en de boten werden hoog in het zand afgemeerd, veilig voor de woeste kracht van de oceaan.
Óbidos is een klassiek Portugees vestingstadje en een van de meest pittoreske plaatsjes in Portugal. Óbidos straalt Portugese charme uit, van de smalle geplaveide straatjes, de schilderachtige huizen, tot het imposante middeleeuwse kasteel dat ooit de regio bewaakte.

Our guide Nuno was excellent. He provided a lot of historical and geographical information about the areas we traveled through and to. He speaks five languages as was able to speak to our group in French and English. Terrific time!!

We had a wonderful experience on this day trip with my sister in February. It was the perfect way to see so many beautiful places in just one day without feeling rushed. Our guide, Pedro, was friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the trip. He spoke English with us and Spanish with the other passengers, making everyone feel included and comfortable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we had enough time to explore each destination at our own pace, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. We especially appreciated how well the itinerary was organized. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon who wants to discover Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré, and Óbidos in a single day. Our guide Nuno was fantastic; he took us close to all the sites and provided explanations both during the journey and at each stop, indicating how to move around. We traveled with a small multilingual group, but Nuno handled it very well, speaking three languages fluently. We didn't have to rush too much, and the time was sufficient to see many things. The sites are visited independently; the only regret is not being able to visit the complete Batalha monastery because it would have taken too much time; perhaps by shortening the lunch break a bit, it could have been done. In any case, recommended. Thank you.
