Hier sluiten we de tour af, nadat we de lokale gastronomie en drankjes hebben geproefd.
Arco da Vila is de hoofdingang van de oude stad Faro. Het wordt beschouwd als een uniek voorbeeld van Arabische architectuur in Portugal.
In dit deel van de stad zullen we de architectuur waarderen en nog wat proeverijen nuttigen, waaronder heerlijke Portugese wijn.
Het bisschoppelijk paleis van Faro ligt in Largo da Sé, in het historische centrum van Faro. Het werd gebouwd om te dienen als de officiële residentie van de bisschop van de Algarve.
Het interieur van de kathedraal van Faro bevat een van de meest waardevolle artistieke collecties uit de 17e en 18e eeuw in de Algarve. In Largo da Sé verdienen twee andere opmerkelijke gebouwen de aandacht: de Paço Episcopal en het Seminário Episcopal de S. José.

Jorge was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He answered all of our questions and shared so much information about Portugal. Took us to 3 different restaurants and the food was incredible, so fresh and a good amount of portions. We highly recommend him and this tour.

I’m so glad we booked this tour! This was our first time in Portugal, and we had only one afternoon in Faro. Came with my family of four, including two teen boys. I wanted to make the most of it, and we did!!! The food was excellent, the drinks were delightful, and our tour guide, George was so knowledgeable!! We would have never been able to taste and see everything we saw without this tour!! Highly recommend!!
