Een snelle, begeleide wijnproeverij in een top wijnwinkel, inclusief: 6 premium wijnen. Inbegrepen in de prijs is een glas van een enkele favoriete wijn aan het einde van de proeverij, en proeverijen kunnen worden afgestemd op uw smaak, en omvatten een van de drie volgende opties: - Wijnen van de Provence (een duik in de smaken en geschiedenis van deze prachtige regio) - Wijnen van Frankrijk (vergelijken en contrasteren van regionale stijlen, variëteiten en smaken) - Vergelijkende proeverij van Frankrijk en de wereld (3 paren van een Franse en een buitenlandse wijn van dezelfde variëteit, met een focus op de kwaliteiten van verschillende landen, en hun relatie tot Frankrijk) Wijnen zijn grotendeels premium, met de meeste proevers afkomstig uit flessen tussen de € 15 en € 50, en we praten over de geschiedenis, biologie en het bedrijfsleven van de Provençaalse, Franse en wereldwijde wijnbouw. Lovely little wine bar, nice friendly host & very knowledgeable. Wines were varied and we enjoyed the tasting. However, he was a little too busy to give as much attention to detail as was expected - the bar was very busy when we arrived and we were seated at a dirty table, with quite a long wait between wines. We were also surprised that the wines were all poured into the same 2 glasses - I would have thought this would alter the taste & a fresh glass be supplied for each wine. Being busy is a great sign but it meant what I’m sure he would have loved to be a great experience for us, was only quite average. There was also no sink in the bathroom & we were unable to use the sink in the little kitchen as it was full of dirty plates etc. A few small improvements & planning ahead could make all the difference to this experience during busy times! We would still recommend this experience as the host was lovely but if you have been to other wine tastings this may be a bit more relaxed.
What an AWESOME experience!!! If you want to know about wines from the region, and other areas of France and beyond, then this is the place. Miles has an encyclopedic knowledge of wines and guides you through an amazing tasting. This is highly recommended!!!
Fabulous wine tasting with the very knowledgable Myles. Loved the wine selection which was selected based on our preferences. We ordered a cheese and charcuterie plate which was to die for with crusty bread. We left after circa 2 hours with a bottle of our favourite rose and memories. Highly recommend.
What a great wine tasting experience I was the only one booked in for the 18.00 wine tasting I tried 7 different wines 4 white and 3 red and miles the owner explained where every wine came from and a. bit about the wine maker ( my favourite were the new world wines I’m not normally a red wine drinker , but after the wine tasting had finished I stayed and brought a glass off a new world wine If you like your wine you will definitely enjoy doing this wine tasting experience And also miles ( the owner ) is a pleasant and friendly guy who you can have a good chat with
We had a great experience with myles, it was really interesting learning about the wines he has a lot of knowledge and the experience on a whole was nice and relaxed would defiantly recommend
Myles was the best in wine knowledge I’ve ever had. He explained France wines to Spain to the U.S. including the regions of each. I know my wines pretty good, but he took me to the next level in description of how each country and region approach their wine making to get to their finished product. He learned what I like/prefer, then literally customized the tastings that zeroed in on my favorites and put a couple surprises in as well. I would highly recommend this tour/experience to anyone interested about learning more than you might think you know and willing to have some fun along the way. Thank you to Myles for your personal touch and deep knowledge of a broad array of wine regions. I had a blast!
The family were great, the wines fantastic and Myles was extremely knowledgeable. I work in the industry and the little tidbits he gave about winery and their history was so interesting. Use google map to find this location. It’s in a great area with lots of shops and patisserie’s. Great place for a walk about afterwards.
Paid a visit to try some different wines and ended up staying for a very enjoyable few hours. Miles welcomed us in and talked us through three different rosés, then three different whites. The pours were very generous, so we were pleasantly tipsy as we left, just the right amount. Also had a selection of cheeses to keep us going before we headed for dinner. Learned a lot about wine, tasted some excellent food and drink, and there was also some Dropkick Murphys on the playlist. Wished we could’ve stayed longer to try some reds, but we ran out of time. Would like to return some day.
