Omgeven door weelderige inheemse bossen en vogelgezang, deze rustige oase is perfect voor natuurliefhebbers, gezinnen en fotografen. Het goed onderhouden wandelpad duurt ongeveer 30–45 minuten (terug) en volgt de beek door varens en oude kauribomen. Highly recommend this tour and our guide Babu! He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout the day. Hotel pickup and drop-off was a great convenience. We hiked through lush rainforest terrain, learning about the trees and birds along the way, before arriving at a breathtaking waterfall. Next was the stunning Black Sand Beach at Piha — a tranquil stretch of fine, glistening black sand. We finished at the Information Centre, where we sampled local honey, learned a bit about New Zealand culture, and enjoyed incredible views. An excellent experience from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Such a great experience! I know this is advertised as a group experience, but I actually was the only person booked on and the tour still went ahead. Super knowledgeable guide and I got some incredible photos- and we even did an extra stop on the tour as I did the hike more quickly than a full group would have done. Definitely great value for money!

Babu was a fantastic tour guide. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel until the moment he returned us he was knowledgeable, patient and most of all, fun. The hike to Kitekite Falls was beautiful and Babu gave us much information about the rainforest and what we were seeing in front of our eyes. I would highly recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely incredible day exploring Piha Beach and the waterfalls! We had a wonderful time! Babu was our tour guide. He was wonderful and helpful. It was just the three of us on this tour. We went to the falls first. If you have issues with your feet or other health conditions I don't think it's a good idea to do so. I got there half way and then I had to stop. We then went to the black sands and that was awesome. We also stopped at the Auckland visitor center.
