Excursie naar de Ajuy-grotten met een geheime Las Penitas-kloofwandeling

Voor een onvergetelijke en exclusieve wandeling, weg van de massa, mis onze reis naar Arco de Las Peñitas niet. De dag wordt afgesloten met een bezoek aan een charmant dorpje Ajuy en zijn grotten. Las Peñitas : Begin uw avontuur met een schilderachtige rit over het eiland, een reis van ongeveer een uur die adembenemende uitzichten en een glimp van de buitenwereldse landschappen van het eiland biedt. Arco de Las Peñitas : De klim naar de Arco de Las Peñitas is een spannende beklimming die u bij elke stap beloont met adembenemende uitzichten. Lunch in Ajuy : Na uw ontdekkingstocht geniet u van een heerlijke, rijke sandwichlunch die voor u wordt verzorgd op de kliffen van het charmante dorpje Ajuy. Ajuy Caves : Toegang tot de grotten via een korte 500 - meter pad van Ajuy. Ontdek onderweg de oudste fossiele duinen en historische kalkgaten van het eiland. !!In geval van een noodweeralarm voor een kustfenomeen (in dit geval kunnen de grotten om veiligheidsredenen worden gesloten), bezoeken we in plaats daarvan het historische dorp Betancuria!

Vervolgens nemen we je mee naar het verbazingwekkende Las Peñitas-ravijn. We gaan je begeleiden tijdens een wandeling door de echte Fuerteventura-oase, Barranco de las Peñitas, een verborgen maar spectaculair juweel van het eiland, een decor van vele Hollywood-producties. Het ravijn Barranco de las Peñitas is een van de mooiste en meest opvallende plekken op Fuerteventura en goed verborgen voor de massa. Als je zin hebt in een beetje klimmen, gaan we ook naar het prachtige verborgen raam.
De volgende stop is een klein authentiek vissersdorpje Ajuy aan de westkust. Daar zullen we een korte wandeling maken om de mysterieuze grotten te zien en onszelf daarna trakteren op een picknicklunch op het strand.

Beautiful natural attraction to visit. It is recommended not to go in flip-flops, but with comfortable shoes. It was a stop on our mini-tour
The landscape, the guide, the early start!!!
Had an amazing time with Bas who was very knowledable about the history of the island and was a great character! I would higly recommend having a hike with him. He was also able to provide a gluten free lunch.
Highly recommended to do this excursion with FuerteXperience and its co-owner and guide Bas. He goes to hours after mass hours, walks the best route through the canyon and goes in a small group.

I joined a small group tour from Corralejo and it was a great experience. The canyon hike was a bit of a scramble in places and I would not have attempted it myself but our guide was careful, helpful and literally knew every step of the way. There is a real sense of achievement when you get to the top. Strong legs help, but no expertise is required and we found our own pace as a group. There was a friendly atmosphere and no time pressure. Ajuy was a nice treat after our exertions and the whole trip was a great day out. Definitely a highlight of my holiday.

The hike is also manageable for inexperienced people and offers a great view at the end. Bas is a fantastic guide. Friendly, funny, likeable and multilingual. We had a fantastic day! Tip: be sure to try the ice cream at the caves in the minimarket. Bas knows where.

Excellent morning hike in the Las Penitas canyon. Our guide was very professional and very friendly, lending a hand to anyone who needed an extra bit of help to negotiate the steeper parts of the trail. The lunch provided was also very tasty. Highly recommended.

Amazing excursion through Las Penitas canyon. The hike was tricky in places but our guide Bas was brilliant at assisting and encouraging you. Would definitely recommend wearing trainers or walking shoes as the terrain is difficult, especially on the way down. I was pushed out of my comfort zone but totally glad that I made the effort as the view from the top is spectacular. Big shout out to our guide Bas who made the experience unforgettable. He was very helpful & knowledgeable of the region. Also the sandwich provided is delicious. Would highly recommend - five stars!!
