De COAST 2 COAST FUERTEVENTURA NORTH TOUR is de beste manier om het prachtige centraal-noordelijke deel van het eiland te ontdekken via een excursie uitgevoerd in een minibus met maximaal 8 passagiers. We gaan op pad om het centraal-noordelijke deel van het eiland te ontdekken, waarbij we het natuurpark van de duinen doorkruisen. We bezoeken een Aloë vera-bedrijf, de beroemde plant met meerdere voordelen. We gaan verder naar de witte zandstranden van El Cotillo en de TOSTON-vuurtoren om de tocht voort te zetten tussen de majestueuze kliffen van Piedra Playa. Het is raadzaam om comfortabele schoenen te dragen, want als u aan zee stopt, neem dan mee wat u nodig heeft voor het strand. Bij wind is het verstandig om een sweatshirt bij je te hebben. Ook glimlach en geluk :)

We gaan op pad om het centraal-noordelijke deel van het eiland te ontdekken, waarbij we het natuurpark van de duinen van Corralejo doorkruisen. We reizen over de hele lengte van de DUINEN van Corralejo en stoppen voor een wandeling en fotostop bij KM.14, het meest suggestieve punt van het natuurpark.
We bezoeken de showroom "FINCA CANARIAS" van de beroemde fabriek met meerdere eigenschappen, ALOE VERA. demonstratie en gratis proefversie van de producten met het productiepersoneel. Mogelijkheid om natuurlijke producten direct ter plaatse te kopen.
We vervolgen onze weg richting de westkust en passeren het dorp El Cotillo, een vissersdorpje dat nog steeds de rustige en enigszins WILD-stijl van vroeger heeft.
We stoppen om te ontspannen en te genieten van een paar uur zon in het gebied genaamd "LOS LAGOS", een gebied dat beroemd is om zijn natuurlijke zwembaden met witte zandstranden zoals Playa de la Concha. Mogelijkheid om te lunchen in de aangrenzende ruimte in de verschillende "TAPAS BARS" of restaurants. Stoptijd 1 uur 45 minuten / 2 uur totaal. (inclusief tijd voor snacks of lunch). The North Fuerteventura tour itself was excellent. The scenery was spectacular, the itinerary was well planned, and the stops were interesting. Our local guide was knowledgeable, shared interesting information about the island and its history, and drove safely throughout the day. Unfortunately, I did not find him particularly warm or friendly, and at times he came across as abrupt and, in my opinion, rather arrogant. One remark particularly stood out. While explaining where many local residents live, he joked that they lived there because they wanted to be away from tourists like us. Although presented as humour, the delivery felt quite harsh and did not make visitors feel especially welcome. At the end of the tour, I also observed a British couple offering him a tip. Instead of simply thanking them, the interaction became awkward. When they suggested he could use it to buy himself a drink or something for his family, he replied that he did not drink and did not want a family. While everyone is free to respond as they wish, I found the exchange surprisingly abrupt and not particularly appreciative of the couple's kind gesture. I had the same guide again on the South Fuerteventura tour the following day, where I felt his attitude was even less welcoming. I have left separate feedback for that excursion. The destinations themselves were wonderful, and I am very pleased that I visited the north of Fuerteventura. My rating reflects the guide's attitude rather than the quality of the excursion itself, which was excellent. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a warmer, more welcoming and approachable attitude would have made an already excellent tour even better.
We had an excellent day with Ruben discovering the north of the island. The stops are as varied as they are splendid, and we were able to enjoy each place without being rushed. I recommend it 100%!

Really great local guide taking your around the north region. Perfect if you don’t drive because he takes you around the spots that are harder to reach without a car. The aloe site visit has unfortunately no more plantations on site but the explanation was quite interesting and trying out products was entertaining if you’re into that. The other locations were beautiful and fantastic choices. They let you have free time to do what you want at the stops. It was so great. Thrilled!

I really enjoyed the tour of the north of the island. Our guide Silvio was very knowledgable, friendly and welcoming. The group size was fairly small at around 16 and I came back feeling refreshed and wanting to return in the future! Also ideal if you are a solo traveller as I felt very comfortable with the group.
