Waar Michelangelo's fresco's in Sixtijnse Kapel - de 'Schepping van Adam' en het 'Laatste Oordeel', Rafael's schilderij de 'School van Athene'; Griekse beeldhouwkunst de 'Laocoon', Egyptische 'Mummie', Nero's bad, Bronzen standbeeld van Hercules, Etruskische collecties zijn prachtig. Vaticaanse Musea is een verzameling van Musea. Hier worden ongeveer 64.000 Collecties getoond. We lichten de belangrijkste galeries en meesterwerken uit. De Sint-Pietersbasiliek is een van de grootste en oudste kerken ter wereld. Michelangelo's grote creatie La Pieta is hier. Het graf van St. Jhon Paul II ligt dicht bij de La Pieta. Ook de Heilige deur, het Bronzen Standbeeld van Sint-Pieters, het Wijwater en de koepel zijn verbluffend.

- Kind/kind heeft een geboortecertificaat nodig en moet tussen 7 en 17 jaar oud zijn.
- Jongeren hebben een geldige studentenkaart en een geboortebewijs nodig. En ze moeten 18 tot 25 jaar oud zijn.
- Als een kind/kind/jeugd zijn I'd-kaart niet kan tonen, moet hij een toeslag van € 25 betalen om zijn ticket om te wisselen naar een ticket voor volwassenen.
- Het Vaticaan kan uw identiteitskaart controleren. Het is dus beter om uw identiteitskaart bij u te dragen of een kopie op uw telefoon te hebben.
- Soms moet u 5 tot 10 minuten wachten in de rij voor de veiligheidscontrole. En het is normaal. Maak je er geen zorgen over.
- De Vaticaanse dresscode: schouder en knieën moeten bedekt zijn.
- Zachte schoenen, comfortabele drees en het dragen van drinkwater worden aanbevolen.
- Voor speciale gelegenheden als de Sint-Pietersbasiliek gesloten is dan eindigt deze tour in de Sixtijnse Kapel. In dat geval krijgen reizigers de kans om de Vaticaanse Musea opnieuw te bezoeken.

Wonderful experience. Vatican has so many treasures it’s impossible to comprehend. Tour guide Rita was excellent and check-in experience so much better than the Colosseum which was a bit crazy. Saw the great halls with different art and sculptures, the Sistine Chapel and finally the St Peter’s Basillica and square. Recommended!

Monica was a terrific guide. She is very knowledgeable and shared stores of each statue and the ceiling. It was a marvelous experience and helped to have her point out info about everything. I also got to go into Vatican without any lines which was amazing as lines outside were very long.

We were late due to traffic and having to get an Uber driver. We missed our tour guide but still received our tickets for entry to places for us to visit. Worked out well in the end.

Guide talked softly, the Vatican tour was in the vehicle museum and a very quick undiscribed walk though another museum. Tour was only 2 hours but was supposed to be 3 hours, there was nothing concerning at Peter’s, it was there it is, your on your own. Would not use this company again.
We completed our tour as we promised. The Vatican Museums are busy always. We have to consider it. St. Peter's Basilica is not a guided tour. Only entry with our guide. Perhaps you didn't check the itinerary.
Everything was great our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us information that otherwise we would not have been able to get. The tour was amazing and again without our guide we would have missed so many.

With 25,000 visitors a day, we were prodded along. Our Italian guide spoke English, but was hard to understand. She left our group of 11 ten minutes before we were instructed as a group to gather.
Vatican Museums, one of the busiest museum in the world. Specially Friday and Saturday are more busy. On the other hand, the Vatican licensed guide knows her job very well. If she left you 10 minutes before then we are sorry for this. In future we will be more serious about time. Thank you very much for your review.
This tour did not deliver any of what they advertised , instead of skip the queue we waited an hour and half in the security line just to get in inside. Then just before the cistine chapel the guide left us and said after the chapel turn right to go into the basilica. When we got to this point security would not let us enter without a guide. We spent a crazy amount of time arguing with security. Other groups would not take us as it appeared they had to pay per person. This was a con by our guides. When we went to their office they said the basilica was free so they could not even refund a portion. This still doesn’t stop them advertising the basilica in their program. So we missed the basilica as did others in our group that we meet later. Buyers be ware this is a bad company to take a tour with if you use them you will sign up for disappointment and a scare on your holiday. Just thinking of my day in the Vatican museum now makes me angry not the holiday memories I wanted
17th August was a very particular day for the Vatican Museums. It was very very busy. We had vouchers for 10.30 but the Vatican Museums didn't take us in timely. It wasn't our mistake. It was a situation. Any thing can be happened and the Vatican has highest priority. We can't do anything here. We tried herat and souls to do our best. Because of huge crowds that day some mismanagement happened. We did apologized for that. On the other hand we didn't give any guarantee to go to the Basilica directly. Basilica is an optional part of this tour. Why you are highlighting this issue, we don't understand. Anyway, thank you very much for your review.
We had an excellent tour. Keep in mind - this is a fairly 'quick' tour through a lot of material - so it is not a 'deep dive' of the Museum or Sistine Chapel. However we felt we had plenty of time to see the high points and get an overall view of the places. The last part of the tour, of St Peter's, is not a guided tour - you are left to tour on your own at your own pace. This was fine with us.
