De tour vindt plaats in Lewes en verkent een deel van zijn geschiedenis tijdens een zelfgeleide audiotour met behulp van een mobiele app.
De tour begint buiten de Lewes Free Presbyterian Church. Je hoort wat over de geschiedenis van Lewes, hoe de tour werkt en dan ga je aan de slag.
De eerste helft van de tour vindt plaats langs Cliffe High Street. Je zult enkele van zijn sites zien en zijn geschiedenis horen.
De tour gaat langs de St Thomas à Becket-kerk. Je hoort een deel van de geschiedenis terwijl je loopt.
De tour gaat langs Bill's Lewes Restaurant. Je hoort over het restaurant en hoe het past in de geschiedenis van Lewes.
De tour eindigt bij Castle Gate met uitzicht op het kasteel. Je hoort wat laatste geschiedenis voordat je klaar bent.

Enjoyed it. Struggled a bit with the technology, but I ALWAYS struggle with technology! Managed only half of it, because I ran out of time (and had a grumpy husband at our holiday accommodation!). Well worth the inexpensive fee. Such an interesting town.
I'm afraid we didn't manage to get it to work so wasted two 'guides' and spent quite a lot of time attemting to get it to function. In retrospect we would have been better to do our own research beforehand and manage with our own map. It is a shame because I think the idea is a good one.

Very good audio tour. Full of insight and quirks. Would happily recommend. Can't find any fault with it. Does what it says on the tin.
Some of the information was useful, but not enough about the rest of the buildings and not enough info on resuming tour if you had to leave it. Also it was difficult finding the start.

Very good guided tour, once I’d managed to download it (my fault - didn’t install the correct app… Needed the voicemap and not the Viator app to run it!). Wouldn’t really call it “eccentric” though - very interesting historically, brought my attention to several buildings and parts of buildings that I certainly wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Worth the money, and would use again for different locations if available.
