Everglades National Park is uniek op onze planeet. Het is een prachtig, met water gevuld paradijs dat het beste bereikbaar is met een rustige, langzaam varende boot met geringe diepgang. Een van de meest geliefde bewoners van het park zijn de tuimelaars. Kijken naar dolfijnen, in hun natuurlijke habitat, die met elkaar omgaan, iets dat je nooit zult vergeten. Onze fulltime, formeel opgeleide Florida Master Naturalist-gidsen nemen u veilig mee naar de 10.000 eilanden van de Everglades. Terwijl je op zoek gaat naar dolfijnen, zeekoeien en enkele van de 300 verschillende soorten vogels die het park hun thuis noemen, leer je over het verschillende ecosysteem van de Everglades, zijn lange geschiedenis en rijke cultuur. Je zult plezier hebben en veel leren. Vergeet uw camera's niet! Opmerking: van juni tot en met oktober raden we de ochtendervaringen aan vanwege het weer.

"Het stille alternatief voor een tocht met een moerasboot" Een rustige, comfortabele vaarervaring van twee uur direct in het Everglades National Park, geweldig voor alle leeftijden. Verken de 10.000 eilanden van Everglades National Park met een Florida Master Naturalist-gids tijdens deze twee uur durende boottocht. Dit is een geweldige ervaring voor leeftijden. Elke tour is beperkt tot slechts zes gasten om de ervaring intiem te houden, dus reserveren is vereist.

Excellent 2 hr tour. I think we saw every bird in the area. We even encountered a manatee in one inlet. Guide was a total pro.

Don was our captain. He was friendly and provided a lot of info on the local flora and fauna of the area as well as the Colusa Indians and early settlers. It was a chilly day and unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins or manatees but learned a lot and enjoyed our trip. One suggestion, add a cushion to the bench seat. There are 4 cushioned captain chairs and one hard bench seat for two. Thanks Don!

We were having trouble finding an outing that was enjoyable for my entire family, ranging in age from 16 to 88. This did the trick. Everyone loved it. The price was reasonable and our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The length of the tour was perfect for my older parents. And it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful being on the water. Plus we saw lots of dophins.

We took this tour with Captain Don this afternoon. It was me and my girlfriend and we are both 71. Turned out it was just the 2 of us and the experience was amazing. First, the boat is small but there were very comfortable cushioned seats. We stayed dry the entire time. Captain Don was a great guide. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and made short stops along he way to educate us about the birds we saw giving us great details about each one. We mentioned that we went on a shelling tour where our guide, although nice, knew nothing about shells. So Don brought out a special box of shells and told us in detail about each shell and how they were formed. I would highly recommend this tour and hope you get Captain Don as your guide.

It was a very chilly day ; dressed in layers and was fine. Enjoyed seeing the dolphins and shelling was a special treat. Captain Kevin and 1st mate were great.
