De Real Everglades Eco Tour is terug! Beleef vanaf 16 juni 2026 een van de meest authentieke Everglades-avonturen vanuit Miami. Reis in een erkende Mercedes Sprinter (max. 14 gasten) met live commentaar van uw meertalige Gids over Miami, de Miccosukee Tribe en het ecosysteem van Everglades. In tegenstelling tot drukke toeristische parken stap je aan boord van een kleine semi-privé airboat die voor onze groep is gereserveerd. Geniet van een rit van 1 tot 1 uur en 20 minuten door afgelegen wetlands, zaaggrasprairies en wildrijke gebieden die zelden door de meeste bezoekers worden gezien. Headsets zijn aanwezig. Bezoek twee privé boomeilanden die alleen per airboat bereikbaar zijn. Ontmoet geredde baby alligators en schildpadden op het ene eiland en verken vervolgens een historisch Miccosukee familiekamp op het andere eiland, waar je de beroemde "Mama Gator" kunt spotten. De tour omvat ook een stop bij het Miccosukee Service Plaza voor snacks, souvenirs en toiletten. Duur: 4,5–5 uur Hotel pick-up inbegrepen. Routes en wildwaarnemingen kunnen variëren als gevolg van het weer en de waterstand.

Na het ophalen bij uw hotel begint u aan de schilderachtige rit naar het westen richting de Everglades. Onderweg zal uw gecertificeerde chauffeur- Gids live commentaar geven in de taal van uw keuze, en inzichten delen over Miami, de geschiedenis van Zuid-Florida, de Miccosukee Tribe en het unieke Everglades-ecosysteem dat u op het punt staat te verkennen. Ontspan aan boord van een comfortabele Mercedes Sprinter of Chevrolet Suburban met licentie en gratis flessenwater terwijl u van de stad naar een van Amerika's meest opmerkelijke natuurlijke omgevingen reist.
Bij aankomst in het Miccosukee Indian reservering wordt u verwelkomd op een door een familie gerunde vliegbootbasis, ver van de drukke toeristische parken. Hier begint het hoogtepunt van uw avontuur : in de meeste gevallen zal uw groep genieten van een semi-privé airboat tocht van ongeveer 1 tot 1 uur 20 minuten, exclusief gereserveerd voor onze gasten. Stap aan boord van een kleine open-air airboat met verhoogde zitplaatsen en glijd door ongerepte wetlands, zaaggrasprairies, cipressenbossen en mangrovegangen. Let onderweg op alligators, schildpadden en kleurrijke inheemse vogels. De ervaring omvat stops bij twee privé boomeilanden (hangmatten). De eerste is de thuisbasis van geredde alligators en schildpadden verzorgd door de gemeenschap. Het tweede, ooit een Miccosukee familiedorp, doet nu dienst als culturele en educatieve site. Hier kunt u de beroemde "Papa Alligator" of "Mama Alligator" spotten en genieten van een korte wandeling langs een houten promenade.
Voordat je terugkeert naar Miami stoppen we bij het moderne Miccosukee Service Plaza, waar je tijd hebt om lokale souvenirs te bekijken, snacks en drankjes te kopen of de toiletten te gebruiken. De ervaring wordt afgesloten met een korte schilderachtige rit door het Miccosukee Indian reservering, die een kijkje biedt in de gemeenschap en de unieke Everglades-omgeving.
Na de tour kunt u genieten van handige drop-off bij uw hotel of een locatie naar keuze in Downtown Miami of Miami Beach.

We first found Max to transport 16 of us from Miami International to our hotel downtown prior to our cruise. That pick up and ride were fabulous. 11 were in a luxury van; 5 in a luxury SUV. They told us about the city and pointed out landmarks along the way. We also used Max at the end of the trip to kill 8 hours between disembarkation and our flight. They took us on the airboat tour (which was out of this world), stayed with us since we had all of our luggage, and we had some spare time so stopped in Little Havana for lunch on our way to our 4:40 flight out of Fort Lauderdale. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Pickup was right on time and the van was pleasant as was our driver. We had to wait a fair bit longer for the boat tour to begin than I expected however. The tour itself was lovely; many different birds and alligators to see and beautiful views of the Everglades

We participated in the excursion to the Everglades with Max in May 2026. In September 2025, my sister and my mother had already taken the excursion with Max. At that moment, the Indian village was open as well as their land. This time, due to the drought, there was no water left in this region. However, thanks to Max's great professionalism, we went to another area of the Everglades to maximize our chances of seeing alligators (we saw 5!). I recommend Max 100%. First, he comes to pick you up at your home; the transportation is pleasant and in French. Max always provides us with snacks, bottles of water, as well as helmets and mosquito spray. Max also precisely presents the nature and history of the Everglades and Miami. The excursion is simply royal! Thank you, Max. We will return.

Very good experience and above all, I want to thank our private driver Ernesto!! He was the heart of our satisfaction from beginning to end. Very good tour in the everglades, the Indian village was closed, it would have been interesting to consider an alternative rather than the return but other than that, very good tour and I recommend to take it Private so much the experience is more pleasant (to everyone's tastes lol).

Max picked us up from our cruise ship port in Miami in his luxury van. We went to an Everglades tour (which was amazing), and then he drove us to the Miami airport. While driving, we requested to go to a specific gas station, and Max very graciously accommodated us. 10/10!!

What can we say - from the minute it started till the minute it ended it was great. The transport turned up right on time, new clean bus with an excellent driver (Max) who could speak so, so many languages. A pleasant drive out to the Everglades with a great commentary given by the driver throughout (in languages for everyone). Once we arrived the Air Boat guide (Tristan) was absolutely fantastic too, taking his time to explain everything to us, showing us many alligators as we made our way between a couple of different islands - giving us to opportunity to get up close to some baby alligators and alligator snapping turtles (not too close to them). The boat ride was great with lots to see. The boat was great, not too big and the seating allowed all persons on board to see everything there was to see. All in all one of the best tours we have been on, we thoroughly recommend this to everyone.

Fantastic tour, hotel pickup on time, small group max 14 pax in Italian, as requested. On the way Max gave us a lot of info about Miami and the origin of the Everglades. Arrived at the destination, at a small Indian reality, we boarded the hovercraft run by a wonderful guy, I apologize for not remembering the name, and as described at the time of booking we made 2 stops. Along the way we were able to see several alligators. This small group tour by Max allows you unique experiences like seeing islands and actual homes inside the Everglades. Asdie from the fun airboat ride. But more on Max - our flight to Miami delayed due to Christmas rush. Would have forfeited tour. Messaged Max, and he allowed to reschedule. Lost no money and had a wonderful tour of the Everglades.
