Er is zoveel te zien en te waarderen aan ‘De Stad van de Trappen’, en je kunt zoveel meer zien als je jezelf niet uitput tijdens het wandelen. Je rijdt in een straatlegale golfkar (Rocket) in een tempo dat iets langzamer is dan de snelheid van het licht. Met groepen van maximaal 5 personen is het eigenlijk een privérondleiding door een supercoole plek met een half-coole gids die veel op een jongere George Clooney lijkt. Je zult diep graven in wat Eureka Springs zo'n zeldzaam juweeltje maakt: de kleurrijke karakters en de verbazingwekkende geschiedenis. Van Buffalo Bill, Carry Nation, Frank & Jesse James en Jennie Cowan, tot de oorsprong van het magische water dat de reden is waarom Eureka Springs hier is.

Er zijn 62 bronnen in Eureka Springs, en van de meeste wordt gedacht dat ze een verscheidenheid aan ziekten genezen. Sommige mensen geloven dat het water nog steeds MAGISCH is! Jim was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. It was a fun and interesting tour. I definitely recommend it.
Our guide knew his history. The tour was interesting and informative. I have recommended the Rocket Golf Cart tour to a friend coming in September. We really enjoyed Butter also.
David is very knowledgeable about every place in the area. Great story teller! Our 5 year old grandson really enjoyed it. Well worth activity. I highly recommend the trip!

I highly recommend! David is a wealth of knowledge: historical and local story telling. Our group were ages 20-61 and everyone agreed it was phenomenal. Full service with little extras! And he dropped us off wherever we needed at the end! We finished at the bunny store!
David drove us around Eureka Springs and we loved his knowledge about the history of Eureka Springs. It was absolutely fascinating and well worth the money! Some people that he reminded them of George Clooney or Sean Connery. We thought that he very much resembled Sir David Attenborough and we loved his in detail story telling. Wonderful time!

When my guy and I decided to return to Eureka Springs this year, we were looking for some fun and different activities to fill our time. We decided to take this tour, mostly because we could ride in a golf cart and not have to walk the hilly streets of Eureka Springs. We also like the fact that we could learn some new things, including the history of our little slice of paradise. Booking the trip was easy and David, our tour guide, called the day of the tour to confirm our pick up location, which was easy to find in Eureka Springs. We happened to be the only people on this tour, which was on a Tuesday night. We met David and his darling dog Butter at the pick up location. My guy and I are dog lovers and so we were thrilled to see that Butter had come along on this trip. She is a darling addition to the tour and was so well behaved and friendly. Our guy, David is very knowledgeable about the history of Eureka Springs, intertwining personal stories with facts and history. We learned not only the history of city, but also of historic sites, including homes and businesses. We stopped at several Springs where we had the opportunity to get out of the cart and walk around and take photos. Having been to Eureka Springs before, we thought we knew a lot about the city, but actually, we discovered we knew very little. Learning the folklore was super interesting because that is something that we had not heard or researched very much. So hearing it from a resident was a lot of fun and entertaining. Just know that this is more of a historical tour and not a ghost tour, although ghosts (and Bigfoot) are talked about. If you are looking for a fun and entertaining (and very interesting) way to fill time while visiting Eureka Springs, I highly recommend this tour with David and Butter (and his comfortable golf cart). We loved it and are so glad we took the tour. We will never look at Eureka Springs in quite the same way. We love this quirky little town even more now that we know some of its secrets.
This was a great way to learn about the history of Eureka Springs, places to shop, and just great fun with David and Butter the dog! A must to do while in Eureka Springs!!
The knowledge that came with the tour was absolutely amazing! As a history buff he knew stuff that even I didn’t know. Even though we had already explored on our own there were several knew places that we had yet to see an explore! There was very little walking involved but 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
