Geniet van een unieke ervaring met onze ochtendtour naar de Etna. Onze gids haalt u op de afgesproken locatie op. De eerste stop is een bezoek aan een lavagrot waar je helmen en zaklampen krijgt, gevolgd door een pauze van 10 minuten in een bar. We vervolgen onze tocht met een lichte wandeling van ongeveer 2 uur op een hoogte van 2000 meter in het Silvestri-kratergebied op de zuidelijke helling van de vulkaan. Je wandelt over een pad dat gekenmerkt wordt door oude lavastromen, eeuwenoude kraters en adembenemende landschappen. De tour wordt afgesloten met een proeverij van typische Siciliaanse producten en een lichte lunch, waarbij u kunt genieten van de smaken en de culinaire en wijntradities van ons land. Een waar moment van genot en ontspanning voordat we terugkeren naar Catania.

A great morning walking Etna! Our guide, Giuseppe, was so knowledgeable and provided excellent dual-language information through the tour. It would have been good to have spent a bit longer exploring the mountainside but unfortunately we got caught in a big downpour of rain and had to retreat to a restaurant in the tourist area which cut our walk a bit shorter than we’d have liked. I would definitely recommend though - solid hiking or walking shoes/trainers with good grip are a must, and a rain jacket too (for sure!).

Giovanni accompanied us on this fantastic experience with our children aged 9 and 4... he was very professional, punctual, and extremely well-prepared! Patient with our pace.... We were also very lucky because the volcano was active, so we could hear its voice, see the column of smoke, and feel the rain of ash on us! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended

We left Catania around 8am and was back right on schedule at 2pm. Francesco was our guide and he was very good. Started at a stop where he outlined Enta and the various major craters and how volancos are made. Was very interesting and was an amazing view. We spent about 2hrs hiking around and seeing lava flows from early 2000 as well as up a crater to get a great view. Would recommend this tour - be ready to hike and bring some water.
