Etna: Groepshelikoptervlucht (inclusief retourvervoer per auto)
Beschrijving
Een opwindende vlucht om de Etna en zijn natuurlijke wonderen te ontdekken, vertrekkend vanaf de privéhelikopterlandingsplaats in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia. De tour is inclusief een shuttleservice met ophaalservice per auto vanuit Taormina/Giardini Naxos, een welkomstdrankje/koffie en een veiligheidsbriefing door ervaren chauffeurs. Vanuit een helikopter over de Etna vliegen betekent in één oogopslag de kraters op de top, recente lavastromen en de gigantische Valle del Bove kunnen bewonderen. Het is de meest spectaculaire en veilige manier om de "ademhaling" van de vulkaan te lezen en te begrijpen in hoeverre de voortdurende erupties het landschap vormgeven. Hoogtepunten: Topkraters (Bocca Nuova, Voragine, SE, NE) en hun morfologische veranderingen na de eruptie, Valle del Bove en de grote instortingslittekens, Bottoniere en recente lavavelden, 360° panorama's van Oost-Sicilië en de Eolische Eilanden.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Deze optie omvat retourvervoer per auto naar de helihaven van Fiumefreddo vanaf de door de passagiers geselecteerde ophaalpunten. Ongeveer 1 uur voor vertrek wordt u door een chauffeur opgehaald, wacht ongeveer een uur op de helihaven en brengt u vervolgens weer terug.

- Alle passagiers moeten een identiteitsbewijs tonen bij het inchecken
- Er is een minimum aantal deelnemers vereist: er zijn minimaal 4 betalende passagiers nodig om de vertrekdatum te bevestigen. Indien het minimum aantal deelnemers niet wordt bereikt, kan het vertrek worden geannuleerd. In dat geval wordt u een alternatieve datum of een volledige terugbetaling aangeboden.
- Voor een helikopterervaring boven de Etna zijn gunstige weersomstandigheden nodig. Indien de tour wordt geannuleerd vanwege slecht weer, bieden wij u een andere datum of een alternatieve tour aan langs de oostkust van Sicilië (Taormina, Isola Bella, Castelmola, Riviera dei Ciclopi). Alle passagiers moeten dezelfde aangeboden optie accepteren om de alternatieve vlucht te nemen.
- Hoe worden de zitplaatsen in de helikopter toegewezen? De stoelindeling is afhankelijk van het gewicht en de lengte van de passagiers. Zo wordt het evenwicht van de helikopter bewaard.

Very professionally run operation. We were picked up from, & returned to our hotel in Taormina. The car was late model Mercedes & spotlessly clean. The flight itself was the best experience. There is nothing about the process I would say could be changed. I’ve walked to the craters before, but the helicopter flight was another experience

A must do experience. Pilot Marcello is excellent as was the whole experience with easy check in. Our transfer driver Ali was so knowledgeable sharing interesting information with us during the transfer from Taormina.
Excellent service from start to finish. They pick you up from the port and take you to the helicopter pad place. It's a beautiful experience and they will also arrange transportation wherever u want to go afterwards, or take u back to the port. Highly recommend
We had the best and smoothest helicopter ride with Pilot Marcello. He explained all about the volcano and took us up to 12,000’ elevation with stunning views. What a wonderful experience in Taormina!
Wow wow wow you can’t ask for better service. Our clearly marked car with Ali the relaxed informative and kind driver whisked us off. There was a receptionist, any drink or food we want, ground crew and lovely Marccelo the captain. Exquisite service all through. Felt like a billionaire. The girls were given lollipops for their ears and the flight itself was well narrated by Marccello going past the main hot spots a few times to make sure we all saw. We are on a real high now. You can’t go wrong booking with Helisicily - just do it. We can’t actually afford this sort of thing but it’s worth every penny - just find it on a credit card and go!!!
I treated myself to a helicopter tour with HeliSicily as a birthday present - and it was every bit as incredible as I imagined. If you’re looking for something truly special, I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour over Mount Etna. It’s not every day you get to experience something like this, and everything was perfectly organised, including the transfer, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. Marcello (the pilot) made the flight feel safe and enjoyable. He also explained everything clearly during the flight, which made the experience even more interesting. Olga, who welcomed us, handled the paperwork, and guided us to and from the helicopter, was the sweetest, friendliest, and most cheerful person, making us feel instantly at ease. Ali, our driver, was a true gentleman and added to the overall excellent experience. This is the kind of experience that stays with you for a lifetime. Absolutely worth it!
