We zullen een geweldige privétour hebben in je eigen tempo, je zult genieten van het gezelschap van een professionele gids die vloeiend Engels spreekt en ervoor zal zorgen dat je verliefd wordt op Kotor en Montenegro. Een gastronomische tour zal al je zintuigen prikkelen en een wandeltocht zal je een goed inzicht geven in ons land, zijn geschiedenistraditie en het moderne en dagelijkse leven hier in deze prachtige stad aan de Adriatische Zee.

Nadat je je gids hebt ontmoet, beginnen we met een wandeltocht door Kotor, we zullen een leuk inzicht geven in onze geboortestad, onze rijke geschiedenis, traditie en erfgoed. We dwalen door de smalle straatjes van de stad en bezoeken belangrijke pleinen "Piazza's" om onze prachtige iconische gebouwen te bewonderen, zoals: de St. Tryphon-kathedraal, het St. Nicolas Church Maritime Museum en leren over het belang van deze charmante, duizend jaar oude stad verborgen aan de helemaal aan het einde van de baai. We zullen praten over de moderne tijd en wat Kotor zo'n speciale plek in Montenegro is, en laten je het dagelijkse leven en de cultuur zien.
Elke boerenmarkt brengt leven in hun stad, Kotor is daarop geen uitzondering. Deze markt bestaat al een paar honderd jaar en boeren kwamen helemaal uit Bosnië en Kroatië om hun producten te verkopen. Tegenwoordig kunnen we het hele seizoen biologische producten en verse producten vinden. En boeren die je uitnodigen om de producten te proberen waar ze zo trots op zijn! U kunt de mediterrane levensstijl voelen terwijl u wandelt en onze markt verkent. Als u langs de kraampjes loopt, kunt u lokale prosciutto, kaas, Montenegrijnse olijven en lokale cognac - rakija proeven, wat een mooie introductie voor uw bezoek zal zijn.
Onze volgende stop is een lokaal restaurant waar we zullen genieten van de smaak van de baai van Kotor en Montenegro, een schotel met delicatessen, zoals een selectie zelfgemaakte sauzen en lokaal geproduceerde olijfolie, vergezeld van smaakvolle lokale wijn of bier. Een ander signature gerecht zijn onze mosselen in buzara (witte wijn, knoflook, olijfoliesaus) Het is tijd om te ontspannen, geniet van een leuk gesprek met je gids.

We had a lovely tour with Liset. She was very personable and easy to listen to. Her knowledge of Kotor was extensive and she explained everything very clearly. With only 4 of us, it was very easy to ask questions and get around the Old Town. The food platter, drink and mussels were delicious. Highly recommended.

What a great tour! Our group of 6 took a 3hr food, wine and private walking tour of Kotor with Liset. Liset was very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour was well paced. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour.

DeJana was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and had first hand experience with some of the history. Lunch was a lot of food at a great location! Mussels weren’t in season so we had clams and shrimp in a tomato sauce. The bc white wine paid nicely with the Charcuterie and the seafood. Highly recommend.

Kotor can be very crowded, as it was today. In addition to having a lifelong resident as our guide, he was also well traveled. The best part was being his only two guests. We moved smoothly through the crowds, learned a lot, ate great food and made a new friend.

What a spectacular day! Our tour started with a spacious, comfortable, and stylish Mercedes van (and excellent/courteous driver, Peter) picking us up in Dubrovnik to meet Liset in Montenegro. Liset was vivacious and full of knowledge and enthusiasm for Montenegro. She curated a spectacular tour that was customized to our desires. After coffee along the bay, we met a quality speed boat that took us to Our Lady of the Rock. We explored this beautiful site and explored the bay in Perast further. We learned about the rich history of the area. We drove further to Kotor and had a fascinating walking tour of the area. Liset made recommendations on where to try local prosciutto, cheese, and wine within the old town. Lastly, Liset guided us through Budva Old Town- showing us all the important sites. She again made excellent recommendations on where to get dinner and how we could enjoy spending our evening in our destination town. We felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout our tour. Furthermore, we loved learning about Liset’s ties to Montenegro. Her passion for this country and her work in tourism was evident from the start. She also helped us make this tour memorable by taking many pictures for us. I highly recommend a tour with Liset!

Wow, we had an amazing afternoon with Liset. She literally and figuratively walked us through the incredibly rich history of Kotor, carefully answering every question by providing facts along with immensely helpful historical context and personal perspective. Then after our tour we enjoyed a terrific spread of local meats and cheeses and talked together like old friends. We happened to travel to Kotor during a heat wave and the last thing we wanted was a walking tour of old town. They gave us some options and we had an incredible day seeing Kotor and staying cool!
