Onze reis begint met mooie pick-ups van uw hotels in Agadir. We gaan dan noordwaarts richting Essaouira en maken onderweg verschillende verrijkende stops: Panoramisch uitkijkpunt op de Atlantische Oceaan: leg adembenemende vergezichten over de oceaan vast voordat u ons avontuur voortzet. Verfrissingspauze: Geniet van een ontspannende stop in een café, perfect om uw benen te strekken en de toiletten te gebruiken. Optioneel Argangeit bekijken: Wees getuige van een uniek schouwspel (ethisch en respectvol uitgevoerd) van geiten in arganbomen, gevolgd door een bezoek aan een arganoliecoöperatie voor vrouwen.
Bij aankomst in Essaouira begint u aan een rondleiding onder leiding van een deskundige lokale gids. Dompel jezelf onder in de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van de stad terwijl je de Medina, die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, verkent, een levendig doolhof van kleurrijke soeks vol traditionele Marokkaanse ambachten en souvenirs. Als uw hotel tijdens het afrekenen niet wordt vermeld, neem dan contact met ons op om de ophaalregeling of het dichtstbijzijnde aangewezen ontmoetingspunt te bevestigen. Bagage: Houd er rekening mee dat de bagageruimte in het tourvoertuig beperkt is. Wij raden u aan slechts één handbagage per persoon mee te nemen. Als u meer bagage heeft, neem dan vooraf contact met ons op om alternatieve opslagmogelijkheden te bespreken.

Very good driver. Poor guide who disappeared as soon as we got off the transport in Essaouira meaning we had no map or any idea of where we were or where to go. We were the last to be dropped off at our hotel on our return when he did actually apologise. We had six hours drive and all we saw of Essaouira was the souk.

Very disappointing. A good drive but only a 10 min stop on an over 3 and a half hour drive. Not enough time to get a a coffee and use the facilities. It was the same on the way back. It was one or the other. We did not stop to see goats in the tree although it was on the itinerary. We paid for a guided tour of the souk, ramparts, harbour etc but the guide went without us. When we spoke to him about this (on our return) he said that he had spoken to everyone but he certainly hadn’t. We only heard the return meeting time. We were with another young lady who also did not hear him. According to another member of the group he had only informed the French people who were with us. When asked he said that he did not have a list of the people who were taking the guided tour, nor did he have the number of people for this. He should have gathered everyone together and told the people to be guided to join him and check the number of people before he went off but this did not happen. Muhammad insisted that he had spoken to everyone but my sister and I had stopped to put on jackets and he had disappeared when we had done this. This is absolutely appalling. We were left to negotiate our way around the Kasbah and did not see the harbour or the Portuguese side of the town which should have been included. Muhammad did a apologise for the ‘misunderstanding’ when we got back to our hotel. We were the last to be dropped off. It would have been better had he done this before we left Essauira when we first complained . Apart from this Muhammed fell asleep on the way back to Agadir. We were sitting behind him and the driver. This should not happen. On a positive note I have to say that our driver was excellent.

Very nice trip to Essaouria. Pretty long in the van but that was solved well by stops along the way. Very friendly guide who gave a lot of explanations and was extremely helpful. Recommended!

Great day, Kate. On the route we make stops to see the goats on the argan trees then a cooperative on argon and to finish the total visit of Essaouira. We are given 3 hours of free time in the wonderful souk of Essaouira. And on the return stop on a small village of all colors. It was a fantastic day. In addition the driver and guide very very kind, friendly and very professional.
