Stap in de schoenen van een student van Plato door middel van een productieve en vreugdevolle filosofische zoektocht, met dialogen en een debat. Volg deze meeslepende filosofieworkshop in Athene, gehouden in het legendarische Plato’s Academy Park – de geboorteplaats van ’s werelds eerste Academie. - Zie de historische locatie waar 's werelds 1e Academie werd gehost. - Bezoek Plato's Digital Museum (toegang is gratis). - Doe mee aan een productieve en vreugdevolle filosofische zoektocht. - Verplaats je in de schoenen van een oude Griekse filosoof. - Ontwikkel je kritisch denken en zelfbewustzijn via Socrates' maieutische (vroedvrouw) methode. Gezinsvriendelijk! Geschikt voor volwassenen en tieners ouder dan 14 jaar. Met de optie om je ervaring te verrijken met een extra uur over Aristoteles' Filosofie.

- Aangezien deze workshop plaatsvindt op een historische locatie, waarbij erfgoed en culturele aspecten aan bod komen, moeten alle deelnemers ethiek, recht en respectvol gedrag etiquette (soberheid, netheid, foto / video-opnamen, dresscode, luidheid enz.) Respecteren en respectvol zijn en beleefd gedurende de hele sessie. Onze facilitator heeft het recht om uw deelname te beëindigen zonder enige terugbetaling in het geval uw gedrag respectloos is ten opzichte van de plaats of de mensen.
- Deze workshop is een buitenbelevenis en daarom heb je goed weer nodig. In het geval dat het wordt geannuleerd vanwege slecht weer, wordt u minimaal 3 uur van tevoren op de hoogte gebracht en krijgt u de mogelijkheid om te kiezen tussen een andere datum, een vergelijkbare workshop of een volledige terugbetaling.
- Geschikt voor mensen zonder voorkennis, in gewone Engelse taal. Er zullen geen moeilijke woorden of terminologie zijn.
- Er is een kleine kans dat er tijdens ons bezoek archeologische opgravingen plaatsvinden in Plato's Academiepark. In dat geval zullen we de oude ruïnes van het Gymnasium van korte afstand zien en ons op een andere plek in het park vestigen.
- Geschikt voor volwassenen en tieners ouder dan 14 jaar. Minderjarige deelnemers kunnen NIET alleen boeken, tenminste één volwassene moet ook boeken, die ook verantwoordelijk is voor het toezicht op hen.
- De openingstijden/dagen van Plato's Digitale Museum veranderen voortdurend, en soms is het museum zonder enige aankondiging gesloten.
- Het bijwonen van deze workshop in de openbare ruimte betekent dat u instemt met foto-/video-opnamen die kunnen plaatsvinden tijdens deze service, inclusief de toekomstige publicatie van dit materiaal door ons of de andere deelnemers. U kunt uw toestemming te allen tijde (voor of na de workshop) intrekken door schriftelijk contact met ons op te nemen. Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor foto's en video's van u, gemaakt door anderen tijdens onze diensten en voor het gebruik van dergelijk foto- en videomateriaal door die derden.

We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Ancient Greek philosophy with an expert! Our tour guide was informative and made practical philosophical connections with contemporary issues. Unfortunately the associated digital museum was closed during our tour but hopefully we can visit in the future.

An interesting experience in French to discover Plato, his work, and his academy. It is pleasant to be outdoors, and Dimitra is very motivated. A bit long on the timeline section; I would have preferred to focus more on the allegory of the cave and the debates.

One of the best things we did during our stay in Athens! My colleagues and I learned a lot about Plato, Aristotle, and their philosophies. We went to Athens for 5 days. Plato's philosophy workshop was one of the best experiences we had. We learn a lot about Plato's life and philosophy in the same place that was his academy. Our facilitator was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
