Een overnachting in de Erg Chigaga-woestijn in Marokko, in het hart van de Sahara-duinen, voor een kort verblijf voor degenen die willen reizen en kiezen voor een ecotoeristische aanpak; Deze 4WD-tour begint 's middags vanuit Mhamid in een van de mooiste delen van de Sahara. Je wordt vervoerd door de duinen, het nomadische leven. Afhankelijk van het seizoen kun je nomadische families ontmoeten die een bedoeïenenleven leiden. Na aankomst prachtige zonsondergang bij de grote duinen, zandbord. Mogelijke kameelrit, 'S Avonds Berbermuziek rond het vuur, overnachting in het kamp, de volgende ochtend na het ontbijt terugrijden naar Mhamid.

Onze overnachting in de Mhamid-woestijn begint 's middags op de rug van de kamelen diep in een prachtig deel van de Sahara; Nadat je bij de duinen bent aangekomen, geniet je van een prachtige zonsondergang: diner, lokale muziek en overnachting in een Berberkamp onder de nomadententen.
Vanochtend opstaan voor zonsopgang bij de camouflage, na het ontbijt genieten van de prachtige duinen en vervolgens terugrijden naar Mhamid. Aankomst rond 10.00 uur

We spent an extraordinary week with Mohamed , Abderamane and his team.. Stay very well organized. The approach to the desert is crescendo in stages. Without a doubt, Abderame's team has a lot to do with it... attentive , available, happy , equipped with a rare humanity... people that we have difficulty leaving .. It was just beautiful. Great organization from the first minute. We would welcome us family members and have spent a wonderful time in the Erg Chegaga. With camel ride into the magnificent sunset on a dune.Our guide took care of us like family members starting from excellent lunch in a palm oasis to dinner, music in the evening. We would book again and again at Saharasteps.
We booked a one night desert experience. Half a day we rode camels and went a bit into the desert. After cooking great lunch for us we got by car deeper into the desert where the big dunes are. We spent a night in a great desert camp. The food was very good and all the people were friendly. The big dunes are very beautiful and a must see! We also spent a night in the regular Mhamid desert camp. It was also very nice and beautiful!
Very nice staff, adapts to the schedules you have planned on your trip. Very good food. Amazing views of the sky at night. The very funny bonfire.

We got picked up by Hassan who showed to be an excellent guide. Friendly and patiently he explained, answered our questions and gave us surprising detours, like looking for fossils. Best: never pushing and atent what we wanted or not.Also the guy who was at the Bivak was a pleasant person. Hassan loves his desert, he picked up plastic on the way and even argued with others who had thrown their rubbish out of the car. Not to forget: the camel ride on the dunes and the stars in the night: unforgettable.
We had a great stay in the desert! The tour was recommended to us by an acquaintance and we were not disappointed. Abdelrahman has put together a tour for us that was well suited even on hot August days. The organization worked very well and we had fun with the young crew. A great experience!
