Begin met een bezoek aan het Huis van de Maagd Maria, waar ze haar laatste dagen doorbracht. Bekijk de heilige fonteinen en de wensmuur met uw lokale Gids. Ga verder naar Efeze, een van de grootste steden van de oude wereld en een van de best bewaarde Grieks-Romeinse steden aan de Middellandse Zee. Wandel langs de marmeren straten en verken het Odeon, State Agora, Curetes Street, Fontein van Trajanus, Tempel van Hadrianus, Bibliotheek van Celsus, Commerciële Agora en het Grote Theater, dat ooit plaats bood aan ongeveer 24.000 toeschouwers. Onderweg brengt uw Gids de stad tot leven door middel van verhalen en inzichten in de geschiedenis, architectuur, cultuur en het dagelijks leven. Na het verkennen van Efeze kunt u lunchen in een lokaal restaurant in Selçuk en lokale workshops bezoeken met traditioneel vakmanschap en regionale producten. Ga verder naar de Tempel van Artemis, ooit een van de Zeven Wonderen van de Oude Wereld, voordat u terugkeert naar uw hotel met uw Gids.

It was a wonderful tour, guided by Erman Uslu. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable. He made sure we were the shade considering it was a hot day, which I value. The included lunch was delicious and it was buffet style. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and safe.

The one day tour to explore the old city of Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary is great, however some points can still be improved: 1) more clear explanation & more interactive communication from the the tour guide, 2) more time to explore the old city of Ephesus, since the admission tickets fee has already been expensive.

Very informative tour - I learned things about the history of Turkey, Izmir and Ephesus. The Virgin Mary's house (VMH) was a must see for me when I planned the trip. It was challenging finding a tour from Izmir not catered to Cruise tourists and one that included VMH. This tour checked off all the boxes for me and delivered on everything plus more. Alperen, the tour guide was amazing, connected with and engaged the group well, managed the time well and nothing was rushed. He even provided recommendations for my impromptu stop at Izmir city and guidance for my way back to the airport after my city visit. John, our driver was great on the road.

I did tour with Erman for two days (Pamukkale and Ephesus) and the Erman was excellent guide. He has a knowledge and explains very well. Excellent tour guide and I recommend to all! The tour schedule was well arranged though I wish I didn’t stop by the stores. I prefer to return early rather than shopping. But this is my preference. Only thing it could be better was food in Ephesus.
