De olifantenreservaattour is uniek omdat deze vergezeld gaat van een diepgaand commentaar op het biologische gedrag en de conservatieve status van olifanten. U zult worden geïnformeerd over de gewoonten, dynamiek, veeteelt en anatomie van deze vriendelijke reuzen. Je wordt ook begeleid door een onvergetelijke ervaring met deze prachtige wezens. Na aankomst bij het olifanten- en apenreservaat, zal de gids je ontmoeten en je twee uur meenemen om de olifanten te zien en nog eens twee uur om de apen te zien. Tijdens deze tour word je meegenomen op een reis in de wereld van de Afrikaanse olifant en begeleid door een onvergetelijke ervaring met deze prachtige wezens, begrijp je de hoogte waarop olifanten staan en ervaar je hun omgeving. Naast het olifantenreservaat is het apenreservaat, waar je ook vrijlevende apen zult zien in een natuurlijke en wilde omgeving. Deze primaten krijgen hun vrijheid in een natuurlijke omgeving.

We had a wonderful time on this tour and made the most of every moment. Both halves are really enjoyable — the elephants and the monkeys alike. We personally found the monkey sanctuary to be our favourite, but the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our driver met us right at the hotel door at the agreed time, took us out for the day, and brought us safely back afterwards. A special thank you goes to our guide and driver, Sabelo, who was incredibly attentive throughout. On the way he shared all sorts of interesting cultural insights about the region, and during the visits he made a point of coming in with us to help take photos and make sure we'd come away with great memories of the trip. A really lovely experience, and one we'd happily recommend.
This was, by far, my best experience ever with monkeys. This place is a true sanctuary, not a zoo masquerading as a sanctuary, and we were so happy to see how much room the animals had to roam around. Each person gets a bowl of food to carry around and then the monkeys descend -- they were on my head, my shoulders, my arms and it was pure bliss. The spider monkey took a liking to my partner and calmly sat on his arm with her tail wrapped around his neck for probably 10-15 minutes. As long as you follow the guide's instructions, they don't bite. They're used to people and the food obviously attracts them, but the guides don't force them to interact with humans and we really appreciated that. It truly felt like the guides had a deep respect for the animals, and that respecting the animals wishes was more important than entertaining the humans. This was true with the elephants as well. There were more elephant guides present than elephants and when we asked about this, we were told that sometimes the elephants just don't feel like interacting with the same guides, so instead of forcing them to do that, the elephants have an array of guides to choose from. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If we lived nearby, I would go every weekend.
This is a wonderful day trip and great experience with elephants and monkeys at the sanctuary for a family or with spouses and friends. We had so much fun and we loved the experience. The staff at the sanctuary is awesome. I can warmly recommend this day trip.

This was an excellent tour. We had a wonderful guide. The elephants and the monkeys were both interesting and interactive. We were able to feed and touch the elephants and feed the monkeys. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

This experience was amazing to say the least! From the beginning my driver, Sabelo, from Philippians 4 Travel & Tours made my day. He was kind, welcoming and informative. I felt like I was in great hands while traveling solo. As for the Elephant & Monkey Reservation tour…. they both were outstanding! The experience in both I will never forget!
It was an amazing day period I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. My driver was fantastic, he knew a lot of information about the area and the tour. It was a calm atmosphere and I didn't feel rushed. They split us into groups that were just the right size. The elephants were great to be around. And the caretaker's were awesome in handling them. The monkeys were a lot of fun.And we really enjoyed feeding them. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend this tour. It is a great value for the price.
I loved this tour. Being able to be close to the elephants and monkeys was incredible. The company responsible for the tour was punctual, with an attentive and very respectful team.
