De Nine Arch Bridge, ook wel bekend als de 'Bridge in the Sky', werd gebouwd door twee moerasbergen met elkaar te verbinden bij de aanleg van de Badulla - Colombo-spoorweg. Deze brug is 300 voet lang, 25 voet breed en 80-100 voet hoog. Het is een van de beste voorbeelden van spoorwegbouw uit het koloniale tijdperk in het land. De brug kan worden bereikt door 2 km over de Gotuwala-weg te reizen, beginnend bij het Halpe Textile-centrum in de Badulla Bandarawela-weg. De omgeving heeft een gestage toename van het toerisme gezien dankzij de architectonische vindingrijkheid van de brug en het overvloedige groen in de nabijgelegen heuvels.
De Demodara Loop is een spiraalvormige spoorweglus in Demodara en is een stukje geavanceerde civiele techniek. De spoorlijn loopt onder zichzelf door, slingert rond de berg en komt uit een tunnel die onder het treinstation van Demodara ligt; deze spoorlijn zou de enige in zijn soort ter wereld zijn.
Het begin van het pad gaat door prachtige weelderige groene theeplantages vol theepluksters en adembenemende uitzichten helemaal tot aan de top. De Little Adam`s Peak is 1141 m hoog, is redelijk gemakkelijk te beklimmen, met een goed pad helemaal naar boven. De reis duurt in totaal ongeveer 2 en een half uur inclusief het maken van foto's.
Gregory Lake is een geweldig stuwmeer in het hart van de theelandheuvelstad Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka.
Damro (genaamd Macwood Tea Before) bezit meer dan 5.000 hectare weelderige theeplantages, verspreid over alle grote theeteeltregio's in Sri Lanka. van de laaggelegen valleien van Sabaragamuwa tot de centrale heuvels op hoogtes van meer dan 1500 meter. Gelegen in deze goed verzorgde theetuinen. je zou ook 12 fabrieken tegenkomen die een scala aan Ceylon's beste theesoorten produceren, variërend van Rotorvane, Orthodox, CTC en Groene thee, grotendeels om tegemoet te komen aan de brede vraag van lokale en internationale markten.
Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) hoog en de 11e hoogste waterval in Sri Lanka en de 729e hoogste waterval ter wereld. Ramboda Falls zo genoemd vanwege de nabijheid van de adembenemende Ramboda Falls waterval - Sri Lanka.

We had a enjoyable and comfortable day trip. Timely picked up from our hotel. Our guide/driver Lal Kumarage took excellent care of us. Drivers were fantastic given the traffic and weather conditions. The locations visited did not require entry fees so not sure how it’s an inclusion. No WIFI or water was provided and we had to pay $30 extra for a tuk tuk to the bridge because the van couldn’t go past a certain point. Ella and the other locations were beautiful but this is just a transport service and probably would be better off booking a driver opposed to this day tour.
Unfortunately, this tour was a huge disappointment and by no means what was promised on the website. For €235.65 we expected a comprehensive day tour with several stops and sights – instead we were only driven from Kandy to Ella, only a tea factory we saw. At our request at the end of the trip, whether we would at least visit the Nine Arches Bridge, we were advised to do so at our own expense the next day with a tuk-tuk. Only after urging, because this was supposed to be included in the tour, we were organized a tuk-tuk. For what was ultimately offered, we could have just taken a taxi for a fraction of the price. This tour was absolutely not worth their money and I cannot recommend it.
This tour came about because we had a Kandy to Ella train booked and it was cancelled at the last minute. The company agent worked really hard late at night to sort us out for the following morning. The trip was modified to accommodate our needs and the price adjusted accordingly. That’s pretty good service by anyone’s book and shows that this firm won’t leave you in the lurch.
This is a highly recommended trip to learn about the best teas in Sri Lanka, the most beautiful mountain views, and the interesting towns and delicacies along the way. My guide, Mr. Randika, is very good. He is very professional and arranges the schedule of the day very reasonably. Before the heavy rain, he showed me all the scenic spots that needed to be hiked. His driving skill was so good that he took me through the fog and sent me back to the hotel safely. He is very familiar with the scenic spots along the way and stops at every place worth taking pictures.
Drive from Kandy to Little England the highlight - really beautiful. Also enjoyed the drive to Ella and visiting Nine Arch Bridge but heavy rain unfortunately ( fun to experience monsoon but not so good for sightseeing). Everything well organised and felt safe and well looked after. Longish day but well worth it
We had an amazing day in Nuwara Eliya and Ella with Kushan! He is very warm, friendly and accommodating guide! We highly recommend him!
The tour went well and the view was breath-taking! It was totally all worth it and the driver was nice as well. Had a lot of fun!
