Het gezicht van stofrode olifanten die zich wentelen, rollen en elkaar besproeien met het middernachtblauwe water van de met palmen beschaduwde Galana-rivier is een van de meest suggestieve beelden in Afrika. Samen met het 300 km lange Yatta-plateau, de langste lavastroom ter wereld, zorgt dit voor een avontuur als geen ander in Tsavo East. Het park vormt het grootste beschermde gebied in Kenia en is de thuisbasis van de meeste grotere zoogdieren, grote kuddes stofrode olifanten, neushoorns, buffels, leeuwen, luipaarden, groepen nijlpaarden, krokodillen, waterbokken, kleine koedoes, gerenuk en het overvloedige vogelleven omvat 500 geregistreerde soorten. Wild in Tsavo East omvat de beroemde Big 5. Andere gewilde soorten zijn de zwarte neushoorn, de hirola-antilope, de mangoest, de giraffe, de vleermuisoorvos, de klipdas, de Grevy-zebra, de grondpangolin, de Sykes-aap, de zwartgezichtvervet-aap en de dikdik, om er maar een paar te noemen. Er zijn meer dan 500 vogelsoorten waargenomen in het gebied, waaronder de struisvogel, torenvalk, spreeuw, wevervogel, ijsvogel, buizerd, neushoornvogel, secretarisvogel en reiger.

This is a really great company. I am from Poland and traveling through Africa with a backpack on a very tight budget. The offer was perfectly tailored to my expectations. I clearly explained what I was looking for, and I received options adjusted to my budget. The safari was very well organized, and other transfers and excursions were also excellent. Everything was safe and well planned from start to finish. Communication via WhatsApp was possible even at very unusual hours. The people are very kind and helpful. We asked our hotel and they recommended us. I heard them via email from Italy and they became immediately available to organize the Safari according to our requests. When we arrived in Diani we met and they explained in detail what we would do: Tsavo East and Thaiti Hill. Beautiful sleeping facilities, top rooms (the best), ate well buffet style. The guide, GareGare, deserves a separate paragraph. Wonderful and helpful person, spoke perfect Italian, explained everything and went in search of Big5 and other animals, always careful to look around to see some animals, knows very well both the Park and the reserves and knows how to move and where to go. He did everything to make us live a beautiful experience. If you want to take a nice Safari, sleep in TOP places in the best rooms to enjoy the peace, eat well.... rely on them.

Fantastic experience during our trip, our driver Mike was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and truly made our experience memorable! He picked us up from Diani Beach and we first went to Salt Lick in Taita Hills for 2 nights then onto Tsavo for Severin Safari Camp. We saw so much wildlife! Lions, elephants, cheetah, antelope, buffaloes, zebra and giraffes! Truly got lucky but I really think it was Mike’s knowledge and instincts of the area as well. The vehicle was very comfortable, clean and full stocked with water! To break up the long journeys Mike scheduled us some very safe stops to eat/stretch our legs. I highly recommend using this company, it really helps with transfers from the coast and simplifying travel. Plus having your own driver at many of these resorts is a plus because you’re not fighting for photo shots in a crowded vehicle! We will always have great memories of our safari in Kenya and I’ll definitely recommend using this company and ask for Mike!

I had booked a 3-day safari from Diani Beach to tsavo East and West. Communication in advance was great. Originally I booked a smaller tour and was able to change to a larger one. I was picked up on time right at my hotel in Diani Beach. The guide was great, very competent and very interested in showing us a lot and that we see as many animals as possible in front of everyone. The lodges booked were also great. There were only three of us, which was very pleasant. Great value for money and gladly again
