Je vriendelijke gids haalt je rechtstreeks op bij je hotel en brengt je naar het olifantenreservaat. Terwijl je uitkijkt naar het zien van deze majestueuze wezens, hangt er een tastbaar gevoel van verwachting in de lucht. Je wordt verwelkomd door het geluid van trompetterende olifanten als je het heiligdom betreedt. Je gids neemt je mee naar een uitgestrekt gebied waar talloze olifanten vrij rondlopen. Je kijkt met verbazing toe terwijl ze met elkaar omgaan, duwend en zwaaiend met hun slurf. Je ontmoet de olifantenkudde in het reservaat en leert ieders eigen karakter en achtergrond kennen. Je bent geraakt door de toewijding van het personeel aan, liefde voor en inzet voor deze vriendelijke reuzen. Je gaat op een rondleiding door het reservaat, waar je meer ontdekt over de oorsprong van olifanten in Afrika en de moeilijkheden die ze in het wild tegenkomen. Je gids deelt hun liefde voor deze wezens en je voelt je gemotiveerd om je steentje bij te dragen aan het behoud ervan.

Bezoek de Elephant Sanctuary gelegen op de noordelijke hellingen van de pittoreske bergen van Magaliesburg. De rondleiding door het Elephant Sanctuary duurt ongeveer 2 uur. Hier leer je meer van deze grote zachtaardige reuzen. De Afrikaanse olifant, veel groter dan de Indische olifant, is fascinerend en er is geen betere manier om meer van deze dieren te leren dan om in een inrichting van wereldklasse te zijn, zoals het heiligdom. Tijdens je tour zul je meer van deze majestueuze dieren zien en leren en heb je de mogelijkheid om zoveel mogelijk foto's van de olifanten te maken. This was the perfect way to end my vacation with such close contact with these 4 beautiful elephants. Our guide was James and he was so personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget this experience!

Jason was a solid guide, picked us up directly at the hotel, and was extremely knowledgeable of all the things we saw alongside the road. Once we arrived to the elephant sanctuary, we learned about the elephants, brushed them,and walked with them!

Jason was warm, welcoming and was ready to answer any questions that we had. It was a spacious and smooth ride to and from the sanctuary to our hotel. The Elephant Sanctuary is a once lifetime experience. It was amazing to get so close to them. None of us wanted the experience to end. Highly recommend!

Perfect organization and timing, personal pick-up and care by Jason. Felt completely safe as solo traveler. Very knowledgeable about animals and geography.
