This was, without doubt, the highlight of our six day trip to Seville. Italica is a fantastic site and walking through it with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide was magic. We had great weather and the whole e-bike experience exceeded our expectations.
Great way to do an activity with our teenage son, get out of the city and see the roman ruins. Excellent guide and the ebikes were fab.
It was a hot day, but a good one for bike riding. The bikes worked well and the trails were good to Itallica. Knowledgable guide.
Fantastic morning out. The e-bikes were well maintained and worked like a charm. Our guide Danny was very informative and made sure we kept up at all times. Great way to see more of the city. The site itself was amazing and there were virtually no other tourists there.
This ebike tour to Italica is a must do. The eBikes are well maintained and made the 50 minute cycle through Seville very easy. Most of the route was on bike paths and gave you a good experience through Seville and out into the wider neighbourhoods. Italica was nearly empty at 10am and for the €1.50 entrance was just incredible (free to EU citizens). I'm not sure why more people weren't visiting at the time. Danny our guide was very good with the right balance of knowledge and interaction. I'd recommend this trip as one of the key places to visit.....with eBikes giving it a nice twist.
Great tour and top guide! The guide knows a lot and can convey this nicely.
We did a relaxed and informative 5-hour e-bike tour from Seville out to the remarkable Roman ruins at Italica, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. As a couple in our 50s, we were looking for something interesting but not strenuous at all, and this was perfect. The electric bikes made the whole journey effortless and very comfortable. Our guide, Natasha, was superb — friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout. Her explanations were always clear and interesting, both on the ride and at the ruins, and she struck just the right balance between history and storytelling. The tour was run by Andalucia Tours & Discovery, and everything was very well organised and relaxed from start to finish. We followed pleasant routes along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, crossing some of Seville’s impressive bridges and learning about the city’s importance as a historic trading port. The pace was gentle, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and a nice stop for coffee along the way. The highlight of the tour was exploring the extensive Roman excavations at Italica. Natasha brought the ancient city to life with informative commentary that made it easy to imagine daily life there nearly 2,000 years ago. Walking through the old streets and seeing the beautifully preserved Roman houses and mosaics was fascinating. The spectacular amphitheatre was an absolute standout — enormous and incredibly atmospheric. It was amazing to stand inside such an impressive structure, especially knowing it was used as a filming location in Game of Thrones. Overall, this was an enjoyable, easygoing tour combining gentle cycling, fascinating history, and beautiful riverside scenery. Ideal for anyone wanting a comfortable and enriching way to experience Seville and its Roman past. Highly recommended.
We are two seniors in our mid 70s, and we had no trouble keeping up with the younger members of our small group. The route is mostly flat, and the bikes were comfortable and well maintained. The weather was cool and rainy on the ride to Itálica, but we wore rain gear and stayed warm and (mostly) dry. Our guides, Natasha and Philip, were friendly, informative., and very knowledgeable. We haven't been to Italy, so this was our first experience seeing Roman ruins. The site was very impressive. We highly recommend this tour.
The e-bikes are well taken care of and, while you may need to weave in between pedestrians in the beginning and end, most of the ride is on less traveled roadways/paths. The destination of Italica is really worth the visit and our guide, Denny, gave us great information. Highly recommend!
The bike ride was great. E-bikes make it relatively easy. We had a small group which made the tour even better. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
