Breng volgens TripAdvisor een volledige dag door naar Elafonisi Pink Beach bij No1 Travel Agency in Chania. Verken deze prachtige plek met een privéreis daarheen! Uw privébusje haalt u op de geplande tijd op bij uw hotel of huis en brengt u rechtstreeks naar het strand. Er is een optionele stop voor koffie, drankjes of snacks voordat we op het strand aankomen. We kunnen maximaal 4 uur op het strand blijven en dan keren we terug. Onze chauffeur zal aanwezig zijn om u alle nodige informatie te geven over uw reis, het strand en meer details. Het strand van Elafonisi is als een paradijs op aarde en heeft een prachtig strand met roze koraalzand en kristalhelder water. Het strand van Elafonisi wordt door het EU-milieuprogramma beschermd als een van de zeldzaamste plekken in Europa. Het bestaat uit een klein eilandje vol witte en roze zandstranden. Elafonisi kijkt uit over de Libische open zee. Er zijn talloze stranden om te bewonderen, op te liggen, te zwemmen en te luieren in comfortabele ligbedden en parasols.

Je wordt om 09:00 uur opgehaald bij je accommodatie en rijdt veilig naar het beroemde roze strand van Elafonisi. Vrije tijd om te genieten van het landschap en het prachtige strand. Uw chauffeur wacht daar op u voor alles wat u nodig heeft. Blijf daar tot 15.30 uur. Aflevering bij het hotel rond 17.00 uur.
Net ten zuiden van het dorp Koutsomatados, en na een smalle tunnel op weg van Hania, bevat de Agia Sofia-grot bewijs van nederzettingen die teruggaan tot het Neolithicum. De grot wordt vaak gebruikt voor doopfeesten en op 13 april wordt de dag van de patroonheilige gevierd. Een derde van de 250 uit rotsen gehouwen trappen naar de grot, biedt een taverna een geweldig uitzicht over het ravijn.
In het regionale deel van Chania, ten zuiden van de stad Kissamos, bevindt zich een uitstekend natuurmonument, de Topolian-kloof. De kloof begint eigenlijk bij het dorp Strovles, op een hoogte van 450 meter, en de uitgang ligt vlakbij het dorp Topolia op een hoogte van 150 meter. Het smalste en meest opvallende deel van de kloof ligt tussen Katsomatado en Topolia, waar de rotsen verticaal en hoog zijn. Hoewel klein in lengte (ongeveer 1500 meter), is de kloof imposant en het landschap wild. De verticale wanden bereiken een hoogte van 300 meter en de breedte in het bed varieert van 5 tot 50 meter.

Tony was our driver for the day in Crete and took us on the best adventure to get to the world famous Elafonisi Beach! He gave us a lot of history and insights on the long drive from our port and stoped at a great spot for local olive oil, honey, and other great products. He then took us to Falassarna Beach for a relaxing afternoon of food and sun. The scenic drive was just as breathtaking as the beach! Loved every minute of this day! We were on a cruise that had the itinerary change at the last minute, so our tour was not pre-booked. It happened as a result of a very friendly and helpful woman, Christine (SeabyBus). Tony at Crete Lux Travel could help us and make this iconic beach day happen for us! I was so relieved as this was one of my must do things on this vacation. Thank you Tony (and Christine) for the best day! I hope to return one day and do this again!

We were on a cruise and had a limited time. Great beach, wish we had more time. Pick up and drop off was smooth and easy.
We had an amazing day, from start to finish. Vagelis (our guide) was waiting just off the dock for us and happily escorted us around the island. The van was very comfortable and accommodated our group of 8. We spent about 2 hours at the beach, which was quite crowded but absolutely beautiful- one of the best beaches for water and sand that we’ve ever been to. The tour company does provide mats and umbrellas but it is recommended to bring your own towels. Please note that it is quite a hike down to the water, taking about 15-20 minutes. After the beach, we stopped by the cave which is about 150-200 steps but well worth the visit. Finally, Vagellis recommended a restaurant with local specialties which was friendly, convenient, delicious and a good value. He did not pressure us to stop by any stores or make any purchases and even gifted us some local honey and olive oil. I HIGHLY recommend requesting Vagellis as your tour guide. He made the day so enjoyable. Now, I want to visit this stunning island again!!

Beach day to Elafonisi with some fun stops along the way. Picked up outside of Chania. Communication and timeliness were perfect. We had two vans, both drivers fun and friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to be flexible and cater the experience as needed. Beach is stunning. Cave was worth the stop. Kiosk was a photo op and chance to buy some souvenirs. Felt a little bit like a stop to buy stuff, but there was zero pressure to do so, and therefore fine. Really close to a five star experience, but have to dock one star because in the description it said some umbrellas were provided, which is true - three in total - and appreciated because the beach fills quickly and all the umbrellas were sold out early. But of the three provided only one had enough parts to be assembled correctly, and two were barely three feet above the sand. Not ideal for our sensitive skin travelers who needed them. So go as early as possible, don’t count on the provided umbrellas as your only protection, and enjoy a world class beach. Does get crowded quickly, but there’s room to spread and get away.
