Bezoek aan het Romeinse amfitheater El Jem (Thysdrus), het op twee na grootste en best bewaarde amfitheater in de Romeinse wereld. Sluit af met het bezoek aan het beroemde museum van El Jem. Bekijk de oude Ribat van Monastir, het oudste fort gebouwd door Arabische veroveraars in de 8e eeuw. Tijdens deze reis wordt er voor een lunch gezorgd. Het bezoek begint met het amfitheater van El Jem, de belangrijkste attractie en een van de meest bezochte locaties van Tunesië. Dit monumentale amfitheater, gebouwd in het midden van de 3e eeuw na Christus (230-240 na Christus), is het grootste Romeinse monument dat nog in Afrika is overgebleven en staat op de 3e plaats in het rijk na die van Rome en Verona. Als een van de laatste grote amfitheaters gebouwd tijdens de Romeinse tijd, is het architecturale ontwerp een verbetering ten opzichte van dat van het Colosseum van Rome.
Bezoek de Ribat van Monastir, een islamitische verdedigingsstructuur. Het is de oudste ribat die door de Arabische veroveraars is gebouwd tijdens de islamitische verovering van de Maghreb. Het is ook het meest prominente monument in de stad Monastir.
Deze tour neemt je mee naar het mausoleum van Bourguiba, de laatste rustplaats van de eerste president van de Tunesische Republiek. Blader in je eigen tempo totdat het tijd is om terug te keren naar je hotel.

Driver punctual, kind and reliable. Competent and passionate guide of his work. Both very good and super recommended.
Our guide Dora was amazing. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable. It’s obvious she loves her job. It is a long day. We left at eight and got back around 530. Both attractions are amazing especially the amphitheater. My only complain is car was a little small for a long day on the road. Thank you Dora for a great day.
Had a great day tour to El Jem. The museum with all the mosaic was incredible. Our guide Boubou (hope I spelled it right) was very knowledgeable and had a great driver. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this tour. Everything went great! We visited wonderful places, and our tour guide, Mr. Ridha, is an extremely competent professional, who conducted the tour in a very informative and friendly way, speaking impeccable English. Great car and safe driving into the inland of Tunisia. Enjoyed the tour of El Jam and Monastir. My only complaint is that the guide's English wasn't great haha. Otherwise had a great time
Really enjoyed the tour to Monastir and El Jem. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the driver was very courteous. It’s a long day and you’ll be driving for a while but it’s worth the trip.
