Onze tour begint met de ophaalservice van het hotel. Onze chauffeur zal u tussen 04:00 en 04:30 uur ontmoeten in uw hotel in Istanbul. om u naar Istanbul Airport te brengen voor de vlucht naar Izmir. (De vlucht duurt ongeveer 1 uur van Istanbul naar Izmir)
Nadat u op de luchthaven Izmir Adnan Menderes bent aangekomen, ontmoet u onze vertegenwoordiger die in de aankomstlounge wacht met een bord waarop uw naam staat geschreven en vervolgens wordt u per minibus naar Selcuk gebracht waar u onze gids zult ontmoeten.
House of Virgin Mary, ligt dicht bij de top van de berg Bülbül, een van de heuvels met uitzicht op Selçuk. Na de dood van Jezus Christus was de Maagd Maria met Sint-Jan naar Efeze gegaan en woonde hier sindsdien tot haar dood op 101-jarige leeftijd. Deze kerk is dus een belangrijk bedevaartsoord voor christenen. Er is ook een bron waarvan wordt aangenomen dat hij geneest. De pausen Paulus VI en Jean Paul II bezochten dit huis. Het Huis van de Maagd Maria is heilig verklaard en een belangrijke bedevaartsplaats die door christenen van over de hele wereld wordt bezocht.
De Tempel van Artemis was in zijn tijd de grootste ter wereld, verduisterde zelfs het Parthenon in Athene en verdiende zo een plaats op de lijst van de zeven wereldwonderen. Slechts één van de oorspronkelijke 127 kolommen is overgebleven, vaak als niet bekroond door een ooievaarsnest; een aangrijpend bewijs van de voorbijgaande aard van menselijke prestaties. Toch is het een heerlijke rustige plek, de enorme pilaar geeft je een indicatie van de enorme omvang van de tempel.

Efeze Ancient City, een uitstekend voorbeeld van een Romeinse havenstad, met zeekanaal en havenbassin. Het was de Griekse hoofdstad van Griekenland en was de hoofdstad van de provincie Azië van het Romeinse Rijk. Efeze was economisch, geografisch, politiek en cultureel significant. In de wetenschappelijke, culturele en artistieke stad Efeze woonden veel beroemde klassieke filosofen die vandaag de dag nog steeds worden gelezen, zoals Heraclitus.
Nadat de tour is afgelopen, wordt u naar de luchthaven Izmir Adnan Menderes gebracht om terug te vliegen naar Istanbul.

A once in a lifetime experience. How amazing by to be walking through a city mentioned in the Bible. I chose to be picked up from Istanbul & dropped off so was an 18 hour day — be prepared, bring a hat as it gets incredibly hot, get a good sleep. It’s worth it. Could do without the leather and olive oil stops — felt a bit pressured into buying something but I understand everyone has to make a dollar to live.
On-point experience. From hotel pickup to flight and back to hotel was handled perfectly. No issues. Our guide for the tour was knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Highly recommend. Only complaint was after lunch we were taken to two stores to purchase items. (not cool) Would have rather spent that valuable time going to Ismir or another archeological site.

The Tour to Ephesus was spectacular, the itinerary strictly complied smoothly, excellent coordination by the agency from when we were picked up at the hotel to take us to the airport, until we were brought back. The perfect guide in Spanish very clear in his explanations, the punctual transports and with clean vehicles. We had siya turizm berk alkin show us around Istanbul sightseeing. They seemed to speak Japanese, English and Spanish, so we asked for a Japanese guide. Mosques and other sightseeing spots did not have to wait in line for tickets, but instead they purchased them on their behalf, so we could enjoy sightseeing without waiting.
