Ga mee op een onvergetelijke reis door de charmante straten van Florence en ontdek de authentieke smaken van de Toscaanse keuken. Ons avontuur begint in een lokale wijk net buiten het stadscentrum, waar we koffie drinken, in Italiaanse stijl, en ons mengen met de lokale bevolking. Van daaruit gaan we naar een bruisende openluchtmarkt om lokale vissers en slagers te ontmoeten en onze volgende heerlijke proeverij te proeven. Terwijl we onze wandeling door kronkelende geplaveide straten voortzetten, stoppen we bij historische en familiewinkels om te genieten van een zorgvuldig geselecteerd aanbod van proeverijen van eten en drinken, waaronder truffels, olijfolie van de eerste persing, balsamicoazijn, vleeswaren, kazen, wijn, gelato en meer. Van klassieke "cantucci" tot traditionele hapjes zoals "coccolo ripieno", je proeft de essentie van de regio. Dit culinaire avontuur gaat niet alleen over smaak, maar ook over het ervaren van de stad en haar culturele hoogtepunten, een echt meeslepende culturele ervaring! Ontdek de lokale wijk Sant'Ambrogio. Hier zult u het gevoel hebben dat u deel uitmaakt van de lokale gemeenschap terwijl we stoppen en proeverijen houden in lokale winkels en familiebedrijven.
We gaan verder met onze proeverijen, we zullen door het stadscentrum slenteren langs de geplaveide straten en onderweg een glimp opvangen van de magnifieke Duomo.
Bekijk de beroemde kerk van de Medici-familie terwijl we langskomen op weg naar onze proeverijen. We zullen een paar verschillende proeverijen houden bij lokale winkels in de buurt van de kerk van San Lorenzo.

This was one of the best food/wine tours we have done. Our guide was excellent and took us to places that were not deeply in the main tourist areas. We got to try quite a bit of food so come ready to eat if you want to finish it all. We have done plenty of food/wine tours in the past but the private tour was very nice to have complete focus on tour from the guide. We really enjoyed this experience and recommend it if you want a more in depth experience.

It is a fun tour. Danilo shares lot of fun facts and comments about the different food you tried. He is a good Connosseur of the Italian's cuisine and wine. It is worth to try it!

We had a such a great tour with Christy! Our kids loved seeing the farmers market and we loved all of the tastings. She knew everyone along the way and every shop owner greeted her with a bit smile when we walked in. We are looking forward to trying out some of the recommendations she gave us during the tour! Christi gave me the most delightful food tour of Florence and generously shared all her tips. We had little local tastes and morsels that were unique, delicious and that I couldn’t possibly have found out on my own. She also shared tidbits of local history and food lore along the way, helping me understand what I was eating and appreciate it fully. This is a well rounded thought out tour that set me up to have great food experiences for the rest of the trip. I heartily recommend her, 10/10!

We were lucky that everyone cancelled due to rain so we got a private tour with a fabulous guide. It was the highlight of our Florence trip. It was a great insight into Tuscan food and wine.

We loved that we got to explore a local neighborhood outside of the craziness of the city center. On this tour we got to see what it is like for locals, where they do their shopping, have their coffee, and enjoy the day to day! Each tasting was wonderful and you can tell that it was well thought out so that we could try many different local specialties! Thank you for a wonderful tour!
