U wordt 's ochtends opgehaald bij het hotel om Krabi te verlaten met onze Gids goed Engels sprekend die voor u zal zorgen en u van informatie zal voorzien. Aangekomen bij Cheow Lan Pier begint het avontuur met een long tail boottocht op Cheow Lan Lake. Geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op de dramatische kalkstenen bergen en smaragdgroene wateren terwijl je vaart. Stop voor een fotomoment bij Khao Sam Kloe, het hoogtepunt van Cheow Lan Lake is een plek die alle toeristen moeten bezoeken en bewaar een herdenkingsfoto om vast te leggen dat ooit dit land bezocht. Lunchtijd op het vlot huis restaurant tussen de natuurlijke en volledige ontspannen zwemmen of kajakken. Vervolg de reis met een wandeling door de weelderige groene jungle van Khao Sok National Park en verken de Pra Kai Petch Cave, waar u indrukwekkende kalksteenformaties kunt verkennen die in de loop van duizenden jaren op natuurlijke wijze zijn gevormd. This was a wonderful experience, the boat ride was beautiful, the cave tour was really cool and even though I am a little scared of caves, the tour guide was very helpful and when steps were a little difficult, he would give a hand and guide you. After lunch, you were given some free time to kayak or swim, so make sure to pack a swim suit and back up dry clothes. Jungle was also very cool and pretty.

This experience in Khao Sok absolutely earned 5 stars. It was one of those days that doesn’t even feel real. The views of the lake and towering limestone cliffs were unreal, something you truly have to see in person to appreciate. Everything was beautifully paced. We explored a cave, had a great guide who made the day smooth and enjoyable, and lunch was actually really good. The timing was perfect too, especially having time to swim after lunch, which was such a highlight. The only thing I would note is that they didn’t emphasize enough how important proper footwear is. Tennis shoes are highly recommended, and I wore slides, which wasn’t ideal. I’d suggest bringing sandals if you want options, but definitely plan to wear sneakers for comfort and safety. Make sure to pack sunscreen and follow the packing list they provide, and you’ll be set for an incredible day. Honestly, one of the most memorable experiences.

This tour is the worst we have experienced from Viator, as we were never picked up at our hotel. We called the phone numbers we were given. One was not in use and the other we called we got talked to a woman who did not quite understand what we meant. She was supposed to call us back, which she never did. We sent chat messages to Viator, which we had received information about waiting time and location. The Negroes NEVER! We stayed at our hotel and realized nothing. Now we are bitter and cursed because this was a pretty expensive trip that we had looked forward to. We don't think we can trust this company anymore. We expect a regret and our money back!

This was one of the best days out in Thailand. I saved this for one of my last day trips because I knew it would have an impact and it did not disappoint. The colors of the lake and the limestone masses and the trees were all breathtaking. Touk Touk was our tour guide and made the day even more enjoyable with his sense of humor and knowledge of the area. The cave was impressive as well. Lunch was quite the spread. I had one of the best dishes I had while in Thailand (Kaeng Tai Pla). I would recommend this tour. Thank you Touk Touk for a great day out!!

The reservoir, the boat trip, the cave and the scenery are wonderful, but the organization of the tour was poor. The driver was not helpful and only at the reservoir did the guide join in with a second group. Because we weren't informed, we left our swimsuits in the car and couldn't get them anymore. The jungle hike covered about 500 m, a path full of tourists. The guide showed and told us some interesting things, but only the first in the group, because he did not wait until the rear group participants had arrived.

The guide was awesome and everything worked perfectly fine with pickup and logistics. The boat was great and the nature majestic.There was however little jungle, only a short little walk. And when we had had lunch and had free time to swim or rent kayaks, it was not allowed to swim without a life vest and you could only paddle kaak in a rather small and limited area. So great boat trip, me little jungle.

The drive there was three hours and the return drive was two hours. Had I known this I probably would not have gone. This was on me, however for not checking that was my complaint. The place itself was gorgeous. I would have preferred more time spent swimming and relaxing. Although the jungle walk and cave were interesting, they were not what I was expecting. I did enjoy the boat ride to get to where we were going.

Due to my bad luck, I got food poisoning and got sick just before 2-3 hours before the driver arrived to pick me up. Before that moment I tried to reach out via WhatsApp, calls on numbers which were provided on booking confirmation. I tried to communicate with a driver, but no luck. He told me someone is gonna call me from agency - nobody called. I understood that probably nobody would understand me and agree to change the date for me… but I was surprised I couldn’t even communicate with someone.

I feel like Khao Sok is the hidden gem in southern Thailand. Compared to how stunning this place is there is barely any tourists. It felt like getting into Jurassic park. The cliffs surrounding the lake was absolutely jaw dropping. The cave was fun as well so is the jungle trek. Overall an amazing experience.
